Not as good as they used to be. I have been simpleservers for many years, and their support used to be awesome and it was the main reason why I moved (and recommended others to move) more hosting to them.Now I nearly have all my hosting with them. They used to be good, but something has seriously changed.

I had some problems with my old host and requested for support to move my webhosting to this new host, the support was awesome. The web hosting provided migration of my website from old host and a complimentary free domain. The hosting options is truly worth for money.

Been with SimpleServers for the last 6 months and wanted to say thank you to these guys. ALL the tickets i have submitted ( some my mistake ) have been answered promptly and precise with the result i needed usually first time. The support is fast to reply any time of day and my business has been online more and faster than my previous host. I would recommend their servers for reliability and speed to any of my friends

Terrible, Terrible customer service. My IP address has been blocked and I cant access my site. No replys to phone calls or tickets to either myself or my web-developer. Incorrect stock levels and orders un-able to be fufilled due to this simple problem. I am in the process of trying to take the site down untill I change who I host the site with. WORST company I have delt with so far on my online ecommerce site journey.

Hi Vicki this is un true your initial ticket was logged 16/08/13 14:20 when you said you had difficulty accessing your store from a certain location and from your phone. we replied 16/08/13 15:02 asking for the ip so we could check if the firewall had blocked your ip. It then took you until 16/08/13 17:00 to supply us with the ip of our server. we replied 16/08/13 17:02 asking for the ip of the computer where the problem was, this was then supplied 21/08/13 16:17 and we replied 21/08/13 16:24 with a ticket stating we had whitelisted this ip that had been blocked due to multiple cpanel login failures.
we would also like to add on ALL your tickets you had logged in as an unregistered client therefore our auto ip unblock tool would not lift the block for the ip of the computer you are using. we run a strict firewall on our shared servers for the protection of our customers once the correct information was received we actioned this very quickly ( 8 minutes )

I found out that this hosting had non-immediate settings, like every other hostings and like I espected. I contacted the support and they explained me this is for having better performance and they also told me the correct settings, so I could easily and quickly set up my site. I also created more tickets, because I asked for many informations, and they could answer me referring to all the tickets: I'm saying you feel like talking to a real support person, not to a bot! And web site performances, in my non-optimized test web site: they are... wow...

We have been genuinely surprised by the speed and performance increase on our Magento site since moving to Simple Servers both front & back end. Our online store is large with many dealers logging into manage their products, our old host simply could not handle this amount of requests (server timing outs, pages not found etc) so far Simple Servers equipment doesn't even seem to be breaking a sweat. Customer support is excellent, both knowledgeable and fast in their replies. Would not hesitate to recommend. We are in the process of moving other client sites over as we speak. Our GTMetrix has gone from a score of "F" and "G" on our old host to "B" and "C" on Simple Servers.

We're a design agency based in the midlands and we couldn't rate these guys any more highly. They've given us great advice and even when we haven't followed it - they still helped us sort out the issues. If you need something big, they might take a few days to get it together but if its a personal service your looking for - deffo consider these guys vs rackspace. We tested a heavy Mangeto install on several providers and Simple Servers came out fastest, without Varnish, APC or CloudFlare switched on.

This is a hard review to write, so much of simpleservers.co.uk is good, they are pretty cheap, fast magento hosts...basically tick most boxes! Bottom line though, if you have a problem you cannot count on them solving it quickly. Today I opened a ticket 14:33, now 18:05 and still no reply. Their phone service is outsource and pointless. If they provided better support they would be 5 stars, without it, they only get 2 stars (would have been 1 but everything else about them is great).

From Simpleservers: To6y thank you for your feedback we value customers comments and discuss if we could have done or can change this for the better in house regular. we run a fair support system and reply to customers issues in the order we receive them. from the chain of your ticket your initial ticket was logged at 14:33 you then sent two further tickets in the same thread 17:25 and 18:51 before we replied to your initial ticket, this will in fact push your ticket to the time of the new post causing a longer wait, we are already looking into a system to prevent this. the number you were calling is for sales only they are not trained in support and will not answer technical tickets (the number is listed with sales only next to it) The error you had was related to poor code in your website structure which we rectified later that day. we aim to answer all tickets with in 4 hours of the listed time most are answered with in 30 minutes.

For clarity, you did indeed solve the problem, as you have done in the past and I am sure will continue to do in the future. You did not edit any code you did however solve a SQL problem by truncating some tables.
The ONLY criticism I have for you, is the time it takes to answer support queries and the fact there is no way to contact you in the event of an "emergency".
Could you please also confirm your support times.

Running a web design team of 6 I have used and worked with many different hosting providers and I have to say that Simple Servers is the best one I have ever worked with. Their servers are quick, responsive and in the event there is something wrong (we run resource intensive sites) they are on-hand straight away to rectify it. Great uptime, great speed, great support and great prices. Keep up the good work!

My business uses Magento as its backbone... anyone who has ever worked with it knows that it is heavy when it comes to usage and really requires top quality equipment. We went with Simple Servers not because their pricing was great (it's certainly on the higher end of the scale) but that their hardware was in its own league and from the information that we could gather from their blog/website postings, they definitely knew their stuff. They offered a great Magento-optimized shared server package for a reasonable price, but MAN it BLOWS our other host out of the water! We're currently sitting on less than 2 second page loads with lightning fast caching and very very quick SQL reads. Their support has been absolutely great (and I HAVE been bugging them a lot with super specific questions!) and they've so far bent over backwards to help get a balanced server with all the features that my business needs. We're due to re-launch our website over the next few days so I'm curious to see how it performs under load, but I feel really strongly that we're not going to have any issues at all. If anyone is hesitating because of the price; remember that you get what you pay for, and the difference between a $30/m host and a $3/m host is night and day. Keep up the great work!

I have a dedicated server with Simple Servers and i needed to upgrade my kernel because after the first reboot there was a problem with the NIC's driver. They helped me right away and after fixing this problem they assisted me with the next reboot. Fortunately all was ok.

I was new to setting up a website and I was amazed by how friendly the guys at SimpleServers were, Now I look back years later I asked some pretty stupid questions! But they helped me in getting myself all set up. If Ive ever had a problem with my site, something not working they've been able to provide me with the know how to solve the problem asap. I really couldnt ask for better. Their Magento Knowledge is superb and all my common issues such as activating the maintenance flag were solved very quickly by pointing me to their knowledge base. i would recommend their services with out a doubt.

After lots of stress from our previous website designers and hosting, I went on a mission to find a decent magento hosting specalist, at a good price. I am so glad I found these guys (and girl) THEY KNOW MAGENTO. They have a great support team, very OPTIMISED magento installation that runs at least 40% quicker than our previous hosting provider. I started with their £1 trial just to test the water and we now have a super dedicated server with them. Give them a try.

I've had many different hosting companies and been brutally ripped off by some of the biggest names in web hosting either slow servers that regularly fail, overpriced service and no support - then I discovered Simple. In my opinion they are nothing short of fantastic in every respect! Support 10/10 Server speed 10/10 Value for money 10/10 Attitude 10/10 its a pleasure to deal with some of the technical team.
