“Constant problems continually let down with tech support”

Have been with net P for the last six yrs and am now going to move the three sites to another hosting package, the site often is unavailable and blocked by google as they have server security probs. tech staff are very patronising if they can't fix the prob and make you feel it's your fault. Will have to move domain names too so hoping that won't prove to much of a prob as well. Found the file manager rather stupid as the sites are always listed under httpdocs so you have to hunt to find them, stupid as other hosting sites file them under the website name that you give it. Would have preferred to not give a star at all but one is compulsory.

Have tried and tried to contact Netpivotal to find out what happened to my website that they were hosting. they only informed me they were closed down on my renewal date in early June this year. I am so incensed at having to start all over again and have no comeback whatsoever!

“Used to be good, now utterly horriffic.”

This company is going down the pan very fast.The customer service is terrible and the reliability is really terrible. Aslo their servers are insecure and tend to get black listed frequently. On a more insidious side, tech support regulalry delete problematic support tickets, or close them while they are still ongoing. I have had numerous sites go down. The worst was for a client where it has been down for over 5 weeks this year. They have also mangaed to corrupt their back ups and so I have to restore from my back ups. Which I would do if they had not screwed up their DNS settings. Can you see where this is going? BTW forget trying to talk to anyone. Contact is via a useless ticketing system which can take days to hear back from. TERRIBLE AVOIDE LIKE THE PLAGUE!

“complete letdown”

have to deal with them because I was asked to look after a site for our local agricultural show and this is where it was originally hosted. Service is bad. Site is often down (currently down for a week and counting) and the ID and password don't take you to the control panel. Hosting is relatively expensive for what you get. They don't remind you to renew and when you do the site may still be inaccessible. Can't raise anyone to get support. Definitely going to move the site to another host. Would give no stars, one is being generous.

“Netpivotal are simply the worst hosts”

Same as everyone else says really. They used to be ok but now response to tickets takes hours or days and downtime is unacceptable usually at least once or twice every single day. Don't know what's happened here but their service is unusable and will ruin your business. I would actually like to rate them as zero but one star is the lowest you can give.

“Wouldn't use them again. Switched to Zenbix Group”

They used to be OK but now the support and service has gone down hill by far. I wouldn't recommend using them, they offer quite good cheap hosting, but the i have found the service not very good. The downtime is quite often and my clients don't really need this. I've moved web hosts now to zenbix group in the UK and the service i have found has been much better. Not a bad company, but i wouldn't recommend NetPivotal anymore.

I have been with NetPivotal for some 6 years and this last year has now seen the last straw that has broken the camels back. My site in the last few 6-8 months is nearly always down 2-3 times a month and it take 4-5 hours for them to sort out. Leave well alone.

“Used to be OK but now appalling”

Used to have a site hosted with Netpivotal and service was adequate. I've been using another host for a couple of years but needed to put another site up quickly and decided to give Netpivotal another go - big mistake. I uploaded the files, but no site for a few days as account had not been set up correctly, then no access to control panel. That was eventually sorted but for nealy two weeks we have had no email, every time I report they take about 24 hours to remedy, email works for an hour or two then stops. Use someone else!

“Useless”

Un-useable providers. They are not contactable. Numerous messages left on their published phone number without success. Even left a spoof message promising to move dozens of websites to them and still no reply. Utterly, utterly useless.

“Unstable Service / No Support”

Do not use Netpivotal as a hosting or DNS provider. Several times they have had major DNS outages with no ETA's provided (across BOTH name servers). As they also use these name servers for their own support system, during these outages you cannot raise service requests unless you've bookmarked their IP! Contacting their published phone number only allows you to leave a message regarding sales and there are no further contact details. To top it off, their technical explanation will go as far as "someone misconfigured something sorry it won't happen again" - only to have the exact same incident occur within 10 hours.

“Very Bad Experiences Lately.”

I've been with Netpivotal for 5 years. They used to be ok (even if the imap service was never great). But in the last 6 months, it all gone very bad. I've been without email on a number of occasions, and currently, I'm writing this review because the whole netpivotal website has gone off-line!! I say, it's best to stay clear of this company until the service improves. Having your own domain is great, but moving it another registrar will be painful. Worth mentioning, that it's not an expensive service and maybe that is the reason it's not great. Pay a bit more and go to a better and bigger provider.

“Why cant I chose a NO START option!!”

Netpivotal were a god host but they have gone down the toilet. 24/7 customer service ??? it takes 2/3 hours MINIMUM for a response now and when you get a response the "technical" department dont seem to be technical at all. They suspended my account for spamming but I do not use them for sending e-mails!!!

“Awful hosting company”

I've been with NetPivotal for 6 years and they host my domain, provide webspace and POP e-mail. At first they were excellent; they were recommended to me by a family member and I then recommended them to other people. What a mistake... Now, they're absolutely terrible. Either my e-mail or entire domain (which means both e-mail AND my website go down) fail frequently...what prompted this review is my domain going down for the second time in 2 weeks. Their technical "support" are a joke and the only way to communicate an issue is to raise a ticket using their ticket system. These tickets used to be responded to within minutes but now it's several hours (I'm not exaggerating...when my domain went down 2 weeks ago, it was 7 hours from raising the ticket until I got a response...when it went down today, it was 4 hours). It's impossible to get to actually talk to a person, even on their so called "sales" line, which is essentially an answering machine. Even when you do leave a message, it's NEVER returned. I even left a message advising that if I didn't get a call back this time, I would move my hosting elsewhere...and I STILL didn't get a response. I can't adequately put into words how bad NetPivotal are and they treat their customers with utter contempt. There's no way that I'll be keeping my hosting with them at the end of my current 12 month contract.

“The worst company ever”

Everything said by everyone is true. The only department you can call is Sales. So when there is a problem it's really really hard to get a resolution. It takes over 14 hours to get a response to a problem. When they do respond they ask for thesame info you already supplied and then you have to wait again for another 14 hours to get another response There are problems every month It's just very bad. Do yourself a favour and stay away, just not good enough

Terrible! they lost all my mails numerous times and all they do is apologize without giving any sensible explanations. I can't wait to move to a different host. Now they don't even respond at their web based support centre. they take hours to respond and anyway it is all wrong!!!!

Much the same as already been posted. I would not recommend this company to host a *iss up in a brewery. Lost my website 3 times and then expect me to get it re-designed and up loaded, all at my expense. Dont seem to respond when things are not going so well!!!

Have been with Netpivotal Business Plan (Win) for over 2 years but have finally had enough of their excuses. All hosting services have downtime...things happen but the excuses th provide just worsen the situation. Currently 4 days without emails (not the first time) and the only responses from tech support have been to say they have server issues and then to ask us if we have a back up which they can load!! No back ups, no disaster recovery and no communication from tech support. I've finally bitten the bullet and will change hosting company...when Netpivotal finally come back to me with the authorisation code to allow a new host

Terrible hosting. The server has been down several time due to being hacked. Email out of action for days on end. Not able to access control panel. Databases dissapear. Very slow response from customer support and usually the finger is pointed anywhere but at their own incompetence.

We have been with them for about 1.5 years and we have had too many problems to even list here. The server has been down for 5 days now and no one responds. I run a business which is now very difficult without emails or the website. I am in the process of moving to easyspace. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not use this company....the worst service i have received fromany business.
