InMotion Hosting is Unreliable

This is the most unreliable web hosting service I have ever seen. We pay for a virtual private server and everything goes down for one reason or another more than once a month. This puts us out of business and sometimes requires hours of file restoration to recover members of our forums that were active when it went down...their identity files are often wiped. I have learned to backup daily as this happens all the time.

Yes, their customer service is very good and they really seem to try to bend over backwards to take care of the customer and tweak things they way they want them.

However, none of that means a whit if the service is unreliable. Everytime we call, there is a different excuse for why things are down. It's all down right this moment again....we have no web site, no forums, no email, no FTP....even the inmotion.com site is down and nothing there but a busy signal....Third time I have seen that happen and I have only been with them for one year.

No, I would not recommend InMotion Hosting to anyone who needs a web site to be reliable.
