Had to rebuild the site on another host. Lost our calendar. Don't answer email obviously. Hope the a-holes contract something. Even a piece of trash could have the decency to send an email warning to back everything up in the next 12 hours with no reason, but no. Just took the money and ran.

Following a change in ownership, IExpressHost (www.iexpresshost.com) went offline last week (7 Jun 05) and cannot be contacted.

The company offered domain registration services...what they failed to mention was that they would register YOUR domain in THEIR name...maintaining ownership.

I am currently working with enom.com to gain control of the two domains I registered through IExpressHost...the domains have been frozen, this is allegedly because of the new owner's use of stolen credit cards to pay for them.

My advice is to deal with a trustworhty web hosting provider; make sure your domain names are listed in your name...and stay away from these people should they ever raise their heads from the current mess they are in.

At first I had lots of problems with iexpresshost outages and no communication from them...I had one time a several day outage. Then they got better and started communicating maintenance and even outages in a promptly manner. Now I've been down 1 day with no communication from iexpresshost. I think I'll be looking for a new host again.

IExpressHost used to be pretty good but lately there have been outages. My email bounces back to the sender for a few days at a time. I will be looking for a new host.

The IExpressHost servers frequently go down and many times it takes days (not an exaggeration) for them to go back up.

Even basic customer service or tech support questions are rarely answered to satisfaction. That is if you are lucky enough to even get a response.

The bottom line is that I use their service to host my web design portfolio and email, and these problems with down-time make me look unprofessional and irresponsible to my clients. This goes beyond simple aggravation, this costs me money.

IExpressHost - You want to host a website? Let me give you some advice:
First you should think of the reliability
Second of course, is the cheap price
Third is the speed
Finally you should think of the support
I changed several hosting companys and I thought there was no company has enough those abilities but I was wrong! My last hosting company Iexpresshost really has all of those abilities. I'll recommmend Iexpresshost to all of my friends and you should choose Iexpresshost too.

I'm not sure about their past service from the comments here, but in my opinion they really rock.
I received the welcome email 6 hours after making payment.
And you know, my site got shown up imediately after I uploaded web files.
Any time I need their help, they answer promptly.
I think I will stick with them for along time. Keep good work guys!

IExpressHost prices is reasonable and their service is really good.
Finally, I found good web hosting for my site after the nightmare of other web hosting providers.

I just signed up with IexpressHost.com and I have to say I am suitably impressed with the service I have received. Peter is a great guy and won't mess you around! Prices are cheap and you get a really good service. IexpressHost.com comes highly recommended!

I have been hosted at iExpressHost for over a year now. It has been the best experience with a hosting company I have had to date. I have been creating, managing and helping out on websites for over 4 years now.

I have never encountered at host that compares to iExpressHost, they have excellent tech support. Anytime I have posed a question towards them all I have to do is refresh my e-mail inbox 5 minutes later and I have my answer.

The hosting plans are unbeatable, I have never encountered any downtime with them except once for about half an hour while they upgraded their already lightning-fast servers to something unparallelled.

The custom control panel is one of the best user-friendly control panels I have ever worked with. It has tons of auto-install scripts, about 2 different web statistic programs monitoring every aspect of statistics for you.

I could go on, but I think I should let some of the people out there experience it for themselves.

iExpressHost is simply awesome!

While cheap, IExpressHost is NOT WORTH IT. It is run by a man who fails to pay his bills (causing servers to be unplugged) and disappears for weeks.
If you have a support problem that might inconvenience him in some way, or if you want your money back, he will just start ignoring you.
Recently the hard drive of a server failed, and everyone on it was left with no website and no explanation. The owner claimed he was getting the data recovered, but never did produce any data, and refused to respond to emails regarding the situation.
When people register domain names with IexpressHost, the owner registers them as his own domain names. You won't get it back.

There is absolutely nothing in the world that would convince me to go with this host again.
