I bought a mis-spelt domain name due to a copy and paste job from an email (my bad - i know) and notified them within an hour asking for a refund as it was a mistake. No refund.
Anything to do with Fasthosts is always bad - I did also used to have hosting with them too but they took money out my account without my permission as my card was expired and then they put a charge on top. I instantly moved my hosting elsewhere.
I only kept the account to buy new domains and save the hassle of setting up an account somewhere else.
What a bunch of money grabbing clowns. I will also buy my domains elsewhere. Well done bawbags - you saved yourself £7 and lost your a lot more. Bravo.

kind of your own fault for mis-spelling the domain name.
They would have submitted it to the appropriate registry when you purcahsed it, so they would of incurred costs for doing this.
Its actually your fault not theres, clearly states in their terms of service!
