I am extremely disappointed and feel very cheated that 1&1 have signed me up to the MyWebsite package without my authorisation. They are currently literally stealing my money for a service I never wanted and never use! As I explained during the unsolicited phone call, this is not a service that I would be interested in using at the moment as I don’t have the money and so it wouldn’t really be viable but I would be happy to receive some information. Apparently this was taken as an authorisation!! And now I am signed up for a year, where they are literally stealing £70 from my account every 3 months for a service that I didn’t want and never use. Despite numerous phone calls and emails, I have been shamefully ignored, which has been highly distressing and very frustrating to say the least. They are refusing even to provide me with a recording of the phone-call with the alleged “authorisation”. I find it bizarre for a company to take such a stance with its customers and even quite disgusting. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT PEOPLE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

Hi I am having the same problem, I suggest if there are other people experiencing the same problem please contact Watchdog. I have, if they receive enough complaints about 1&1 they will investigate them
