The Twin Tech S3 wad a replacement for my the aged existing. As we live in a hard water area then a softener is a must. Assessing market availability, required a unit so give constant treated water, easy to install, easy to replenish with salt, cheap to run and maintenance free.
This ticked all boxes.
1. No electric req'd.
2. Treats water as and when required.
3. Fits easily in under sink
cupboard.
4. Uses block salt so easy to fill.
5. 3 years and no problems.

Maybe not the cheapest on the market but you only get what you pay for.
I would recommend this product.
