This is great but i find it a bit loud. I may have to give them a call but apart from that i would keep using it and telling everyone about it. Hope this helps

“Wonderful Soft Water”

★★★★★

written by MEW76 on 11/09/2015

The hard water in my area resulted in needing two immersion tank replacements over 20 years. In addition, the crusted state of the ballcock in the loft was graphic evidence of the effect of scale upon household devices. I had tried an electromagnetic device which looked good in theory but in practice was useless. Reluctantly biting the bullet I started researching soft water systems and after some weeks decided upon the Twin Tec S3. The immediate attraction of this device was that it didn't need electricity and its process was simple yet well-proven over many years. I was very pleased with both the price and the quality of work and knowledge of the installer I chose. My wife and I regard the absence of water marks and scale in the bathroom as total luxury, plus the warm feeling that the saline water is never going cause the probelms we've had in the past. We should have done this many years ago, and can't think of any crticisms at all.

Why does the softener tend to dissolve the salt from block and not the other? For some time now the block on the right seems to dissolve far more slowly while the one on the left disappears completely. Does this mean that the softener is not 'firing on both cylinders'?
