We have had our Harvey Water softener for 9.5 years now. When it worked, it was very good. We are now faced with. £450 bill for replacing the resin - which has ceased to be effective. In paying for a premium product like this, I was expecting very high reliability - in keeping with claims made the website “the machine would wear out before the resin....”
I am very disappointed with this product following the claims made for its inherent reliability and although a ten year warranty was available, I don’t remember being offered it.

Thank you for your feedback.

We are sorry to hear that you are not happy with the repair costs.

Our softeners do not require annual maintenance however we do send out the option to send out an extended warranty 1 year after your water softener is installed and this is taken out for 10 years. We send these out to all our customers who qualify for the extended guarantee so we do apologise if you did not receive one.
