Was looking forward to my new water softener which was installed on 13th July, only a few days after the salesman had been to check out the installation space and explain my machine options. I would need to replace the salt bars every 3 or 4 werks, instead of every 5 months with my present softener. But today I opened the door to the boiler room and salt was leaking over the top of the unit. I called up the Company and the salesman turned up very quickly. He spent a while in the boiler room and came out and said he'd sprayed the machine znd things should improve. He toid me that he had warned me that the room was hot and should be "maintained and the temperature regulated regularly"! No such such conversation took place (as confirmed today by a friend who was with me at the time of inspection). He then said that he hadn't been in the flat long enough to tell that it was so hot! Anyway, he's taken away the machine (he wanted me to wait a couple of weeks to see if the spray had worked even though he told us it wouldn't be permanent and the room/machine needed permanent maintenance! That is not what I signed up for and certainly not what I have had to deal with over the 34 years we have had water softeners! I walked away because I didn't want to get annoyed and he rudely asked my friend if I was going to talk to him! He's now wanting to charge me to take away the machine (even though I have paid for an installation which was wasted), He seemed pleasant enough initially but as things didn't go as planned, he soon changed.

Contacted Capital Softener very helpful chose a model which they recommend agreed the price and time of fitting they fitted at the time and price agreed leaving no mess and a very neat job. Would recommend this Company

I previously had a Softener that used salt granules but I often did no use it because the salt bags were heavy and the water was not a lot different. I made enquiries of Capital softeners for the block salt Softeners and they gave me a good quote. The installation was completed with politeness, quickly and efficiently. the design of the new softener is much better and more user friendly. Since then I have been much happier with the softness of my water and the ease with which I can renew the blocks of salt. I would recommend this company for this Service.

Had a Harveys Water Softener installed in our new-build home. The initial survey was comprehensive, accurate and fully explanatory. A short 'delivery' time and the installation was then completed in a morning. The fitters were polite, efficient and tidy, and the softener has been trouble-free and we are seeing the benefit of softened water in this very hard water area. The Harveys softener fits under the kitchen sink, taking up less space than one cupboard. Highly recommended.

Not a lot to say other than the company was professional, explained the options and insatlled a replacement unit (the old one died after 16 years)quickly and efficiently.

Two years ago I was struggling to find a company to replace the waste pipe to my water softener that mice had chewed a hole in! After some investigations I found out Capital Softeners had installed the softener for the previous property owner. The Boss came out & replaced the section of pipe very efficiently with minimal fuss. A few months ago I realised that the water softener wasn't working properly & needed to be replaced after 18 years. Capital Softeners gave me a quote for supplying & installing a suitable replacement softener which I decided to accept. I felt more comfortable getting a company who knew the piping configuration & could do the whole job rather than going out to buy a softener and finding that it wouldn't suit the existing set up & also having to find a plumber to install it. A Nuwave MD160 was installed within a couple of hours with little fuss or disruption. So far I have been very happy with the new softener. Based on my experience using the services of Capital Softeners I would recommend them.

Capital Softeners installed our water softener a month ago and now I am wondering why it took me so very long to decide to get one. I must first say how helpful Capital have been, have them round for a quote without hesitation, they will not pressure you in any way, also the installation went so smoothly, no mess and all done within an hour and a half. For me there are two reasons why I feel so pleased with this purchase, first of all everything is so much cleaner, sink, bath, taps and not only the inside of the kettle but the outside also is now without stains. Secondly my skin is so much better; I have had eczema all my life but now, for the first time, my skin is smooth and soft, no more dry flaky skin, also the nails are beginning to grow back properly without the unsightly ridges that have, up to now, been a permanent feature: I would almost go on to say that a water softener she be recommended (if not prescribed) by the NHS. I am genuinely, so pleased with this purchase.

Capital Softners were brilliant from start to finish. I called to enquire about a whole house filter, which is an usual request in the UK, as most people are interested in just softening the water. I had previously talked to a couple of other companies and they were not really very helpful. Capital Softners came back to me and said that they could possibly fit a Kinetico whole house system but would have to come and have a site visit. They came, were on time, knowledgeable and professional. I ordered not only the whole house system but a RO system for drinking water in the kitchen. They quickly sent us a quote and we had an appointment within a few days, they installed the whole thing in less than a day. They again were professional, clean and you felt that you were in good hands. I am so delighted with the quality of the water in my house now, with softened water you use a lot less washing powder and detergent of any kind, so I feel that within a few years just from this fact alone the system will pay for itself. Not to mention no more red eyes after a shower, cleaner feeling hair and my skin is not dry anymore. I am really pleased with the reverse osmosis system that we have had fitted in the kitchen, Capital Softeners were great, it was a bit of an awkward space under the sink and the tap was installed very neatly. The water tastes better than any mineral water I have ever tasted and no more plastic bottles. I make my own fizzy water in a soda stream machine! This is the ultimate luxury and I don't recommend companies very often but I would highly recommend Capital Softners, they are a family run business and the service was second to none!!!
