ZERO CUSTOMER CARE!

Buyers beware, I bought this watch at the duty free shop at Gatwick airport and within a couple of days it was faulty, the FIASCO lasted nearly TWO MONTHS.
Main issue...The watch is stamped up 'water resistant to 5ATM'. The whole world knows that 5ATM is 5 atmospheres, in other words 50 metres deep, however, in the watch world this means 'for swimming or showering only'.

Clear as mud eh? Anyway, the sales woman was useless, didn't have a clue about any of the watches for sale, I bought this watch as it was stamped 5ATM.

First day of holiday and the watch steamed up in the pool, dried it in the sun and it later steamed up in the shower.

Back home and I was asked by Fossil UK to post the watch to them in Milton Keynes, which I did.

Believe it or not I got a letter soon after stating that the watch couldn't be repaired as parts were not available (this watch was BRAND NEW), they also stated that a replacement was not available. I went out and found a pile of them at ST Pancras station, London!

They then told me to go buy a watch for what I originally paid, however, I bought the watch duty free so they expected me to pay £20 more for the same watch.

I suggested that I pick up a watch in person at the station, they agreed but when I got to the shop and the manager called them they told him not to hand me the watch but to post it to them so that they could post it to me...UNBELIEVABLE.

Next...watch didn't arrive and when I chased up the order again they eventually told me it had turned up in FRANCE....UNBELIEVABLE.

Finally they agreed to refund me for the watch including my postage costs, only after I threatened to take the company to SMALL CLAIMS COURT!

Got a phone call, they wanted my bank details for a refund transfer....in my world electronic transfers take seconds. In the world of Fossil Watches it takes TWO WEEKS.

Got my cash today so my message to you all is......

IF YOU ARE SEVERELY MENTALLY CHALLENGED THEN BUY A FOSSIL WATCH, if not then DON'T TOUCH 'EM........Good luck.
