I own five beginner to intermediate violins and I find that I enloy playing the Morgan Monroe MV-400 best of all. It has great volume on all strings and is a beautifully crafted instrument. Not as "sweet" as some instruments, but you will be heard.

It's a great fiddle. It has great tone and playability. I has a kind of stressd look like it is older but i'm very pleased with it and have had it about 3 years.

The Morgan Monroe MV-400 looks and sounds like an instrument of many years and is a great value for the serious Bluegrass or Celtic musician. This one is a keeper for sure.
