“Copart UK advertised cars with information to attract...”

★☆☆☆☆

written by AnnOnu on 17/09/2016

Copart UK advertised cars with information to attract higher bids and after sales and payment would refused to accept responsibility for false description, which is against the sale Act. I bought a car from Copart last month, advertised with Satellite Navigation and other specs. On delivery, it was discovered the car has no navigation and the branch manager refused responsibility for wrong advertising to gain interest and higher bids - a fraudulent & deceptive act, claiming it is buyer to check before collecting car.

I am gathered evidence from other customers/members and we are preparing to take legal action on this fraudulent company, and seek other dissatisfied complete to contact me with the experience and evidence to present to the legal firm. I strongly believe this company should be stopped and punished financially, I am also got some media attention drawn to their practice and they are secretly observing and following evidence gathered so far.

Please to new members, be careful with Copart UK. Note the Pure sale, turning to minimum bid and description that are not true description of the car, as they have special description to their major client and different description for members - evidence available and as shown on other reviews.

Please support the group and Copart has already been given a 7 days notice of intention.

How very true and correct --they are misleading people as a matter of normality ,no one, with even a modicum of savvy, expects a car auction to inspect and give a thorough description of every blemish scratch and catch ,it's primarily,or supposed to be ,a salvage auction however,,the problem arises when you have them advertising to BUY motors with known mechanical problems which are then inserted into their own auctions ,unannounced as them having a vested interest / profit motive ,in a particular car-and with the difficulties with the vehicle either undeclared or deliberately vaguely described as mechanical .Any motor dealer doing the same thing would be hung up by the heels by trading standards .These cover their tracks when dealing with the unwary by making sure that no log book is available with any motor they want to burn someones fingers with, relying on time removing them from all pain .It's a shame really that a few avaricious individuals have managed to ensconce themselves into a position whereby they can not only catch people in a wholesale manner financially whilst hiding around the back of "Your resposibility to carry out your own viewing first" ,but have also given so very many people ,looking to buy a cheap motor , the raving hump with their bumptious self belief in their own invulnerability. I personally have spoken to two researchers from different tv shows dedicated to exposing rip offs by these sort of characters and they both started frothing at the possibility .Watch this space basically and see what transpires, greed is invariably its own worst enemy, and I cant see this being any different
