“Car more damaged then when I viewed it.”

I purchased a car from Copart in Wisbech, I went and viewed it first as the reviews for Copart on trustpiolt are very negative.

The car was in a large yard with hundreds of others and seemed what I was looking for, I took some pictures of the car as there weren’t very many on Copart and the damaged parts weren’t pictured at all clearly. When I won the car and went to collect the car they brought it out on a giant forklift and had wrecked the front bumper with the fork lift truck, the front end had no damage on when I viewed it and luckily I had pictures of my own, they had clearly damaged it with the fork lift truck.

They tried to say the car was like that before I bought it and that they hadn’t damaged it, if I hadn’t have taken my own pictures they wouldn’t have done anything about it. After a long argument with the yard manager and the general manager I was givena refund.

If you buy a car from Copart you nee to be very careful, I would strongly recommend you read the 100+ reviews on trustpilo.

Response does not match the review. The reviewer has stated they have looked at the car prior to the sale and damage is a result of events after viewing the car. Clearly copart response appears to be an automatic and does not address the complaint

Copart is a disgrace rips off its members wrong cat cars more damaged that listed mileage discrepancies but no sticker on clocks parts missing from cars that were there buyers protection is non existent staff very rude will not buy from them again and would recommend anyone thinking of buying steer well clear read the reviews all over the net Wolverhampton is a joke facility
