“Euro Scandal Vans VAUXHALL VIVARO”

★★☆☆☆

written by vivarostinks on 27/10/2011

Bought VIVARO in 2005 from vauxhall with 27'000 on the clock, powerful & carries weight well, looks as though the gearbox is to refined for the van at 67'000 6 years later on hearing a change to the gear motions i subsequently had the bearings changed in the box and new clutch fitted cost £1200 (good price) some charge up to £3000, about two year ago my steering pump went i suppose this might be expected but i now need another as when sitting with engine on it is idle making it hard to park though when revved it is more manageable, it is now time to be rid of it as there is to many other things that can go wrong, i wont be buying a new transit nor a VW as they have just as many problems if not more (my garage's opinion, it looks as though i will be upgrading (lol) to a later older style transit or VW. I believe there is a massive ECO problem with all these new vans and thought they were meant to be good for the environment
