Had this hoover for last 5 years, never changed the filters just blow them out with compressed air and never had an issue with suction power and hover itself. Today my hover finally stopped and I was in the hunt for new powerful machine, but after the all research, decided to buy both filters and broken parts and new floor tool for my old friend who helped me a lot. Wax brand is so great, after 5 years I was able to find every single spare part I wanted without any customer service,amazing. I was testing the hover tonight on the different surfaces and performance was same like out of the box. Well i spent 80 Euro on the parts to give my old friend second life, and I hope it will last me another 5 years. Great hover, great brand, lots of spares available after the product is discontinued.

same probem , with filter blocking light coming on , suction got worse over time, the worse hoover i have ever had, do not buy

Wow this hoover is fantastic!! Huge capacity, maybe a little heavy for some, but perfect for my own needs. I got this to replace an old Argos own brand hoover, which to be honest I thought worked well, how badly mistaken I was, as on the first use, after only a few days since the last hoover and the dirt that was collected was pretty disgusting, but amazing at the same time!! I have used a friends Dyson before and this hoover is way better. Great hose length, I live in a townhouse, so lots of stairs and this helped make the chore of hoovering less of a chore! My house is probably 50% carpet and 50% hard floors and this works perfectly on both! I would definitely recommend this hoover and never again buy a cheap hoover - VAX is now the brand for me!!

Amazingly powerful - had to turn the power right down as it was pulling up carpet tiles ! Very light and compact - my wife has been having treatment for problems with her shoulder but found this easy to use without giving her any problems. The long cord and hose means that you don't have to keep unplugging it and plugging it in somewhere else. We have previously had an upright cleaner - it is so much easier to just push a button to wind up the cord rather than having to stand there winding it up manually. Easy to empty although you don't have to do this very often as the dust container is surprisingly large considering the size of the cleaner. I thought that the house was fairly clean until I went round it using this ! Would definitely recommend it - much better than other cleaners that cost several times the price of this

I am very impressed.....Vacuum Cleaner has a VERY VERY powerful suction which can be turned up or down depending on your need,the minimum setting is sufficient enough. I have two dogs and its amazing at picking up all those little dogs hairs left behind on your carpets!! Its very quiet to use an the capacity seems to be huge,which is great as it means you don't have to empty it so often Its really easy to clean and although it seemed quite large when i got it out the box its very deceivingly light to carry around. The hose is also comfortably long so that i don't have to bend to much when hoovering and can also reach all those high up nooks and cranny's and i think i can actually hoover my entire bungalow now with having to change plug sockets! I would highly recommend this hoover, my house looks spotless once I've used it!!

I have previousy only used upright vacuum cleaners so the cylinder style is completely new to me. The size of the cylinder itself is compact and even with the extending hose is ideal for homes with small amounts of storage. I had some reservations re the height of the vacuum cleaner but the extending hose suits different family members and also allows the small gaps to be reached that can be missed with upright cleaners. This is by far the most powerful vacuum cleaner I have used and has picked up dust that previous vacuum cleaners have missed. I was able to clean a living room, hallway and kitchen without having to unplug and move from room to room and the bagless cylinder is easy to operate to enable emptying when necessary. VAX Power 7 Cylinder C89-P7-B – A light but robust cylinder vacuum cleaner This model includes one combination floor tool with a lever on it to adjust to different carpets (easy to flip). Telescopic metal extension tube on which the tool caddy clips snugly for the 3 accessories. Easy to assemble, easy to follow instruction booklet with diagrams. Felt light, and is, at 5.9kg - very important to me. It feels sturdy, has powerful 2200W, and has HEPA H12. All parts fit together well and it feels nicely finished off. The power cord is over 23 feet long and the hose is a generous 8 feet long. The big wheels seem to help it move smoothly across the carpet. The floor tool is 10 inches wide, quite narrow, but I like this as it gets in behind the loo etc! First I vacuumed with my old vac, so I considered the carpets to be already clean. I then used the VAX C89-P7-B Power 7 Cyclinder, and found that a good handful of fluff and extra dirt has been lifted, so I feel as if it is giving a nice deep clean. It is surprisingly quiet, like a baby lion purring and not an irritating tone as some are. Then I realised that I had it on low power. Turned the dial and increased the power and although it got noisier, it was still an acceptable noise level and the power was such that the carpet was lifting – very strong suction, more than needed really. The cylinder seems a bit bulky, not as slim-line as some designs, if storage space is an issue, but it does pack away neatly because the tube telescopes down and can be parked onto the base into a slot. The cord rewind is smooth. For me at 5’ 5” tall I find I am stooping just a little bit to use it and wish the tube extended further or were just slightly longer so I could keep a better posture. It’s easy to lift the large capacity (4L) dust container off the base. The catch to release the dirt works smoothly so it is quickly and easily emptied. Being able to wash the filters is a great bonus and will save money but you need to pick a time when the vac won’t be needed for 24 hours as it needs to dry out thoroughly before replacing. Overall a sound cleaner, with good responsive variable power, and straight forward operation, and a 2 year guarantee.
