“Possible cause of loss of suction”

If, after cleaning the two filters several times, suction is gradually falling off, look at the third filter which is not even mentioned in the handbook! It is a small pad in the rectangular opening where the container plugs back into the body. I found it by accident, it was blocked solid. After clearing it the Alyx was completely restored. Remember, if a filter isn't filling with dust the vacuum isn't doing its job. Might as well have no filter. You'll have perfect suction all the time.
