Appalling vacuum cleaner

Dyson DC33: I purchased this model after owning a previous model for a number of years, which proved to be very successful. However, this model is nothing short of appalling. There are buttons absolutely everywhere to change settings or release and return different aspects of the cleaner (quite infuriating!). The cable is so heavy it could be used for welding and it becomes entangled with itself very easily. But the aspect that causes most frustration, is the extendable hose that DOESN'T! This component is so strong and tight that it does not extent a single inch without pulling the whole cleaner with it, far less stretching the length of a set of stairs. Subsequently, when attempting to use the hose with a brush attachment for cleaning delicate items, it is quite feasible that the whole cleaner will either run into your furniture or just fall over damaging your possessions. I will not be purchasing another Dyson after this experience. This model has driven me to despair!
