“not going back anytime soon”

★☆☆☆☆

One of the worst places to have the name "FUN" in its title. This was far from fun and more of a misery, we had more entertainment from the icecream van parked in the carpark Website is so ill-informed, travelled 140 miles for a wasted trip! Not open on hours it says at all at least have the decency to update your website this is the 21st century

“Bad attitude!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Melton391 on 21/05/2016

Checked their website just before leaving with 5 kids for a birthday treat trip. Says open till 11. Got there ready for the 5-9pm deal with 5 excited children rides all going. Waited to get out wrist bands happy that the rain had stopped only to be told they were closing DUE TO THE RAIN. Asked to olsoeak to the general manager as we checked the website (still says open) and pointed to the signs! Only to be told he would "be at home with his feet up by now" another worker told us they had decided at midday to close at 5 as they wouldn't make much money in the rain!

“Safety issues”

★★☆☆☆

written by Rollins156 on 27/05/2014

My 7 year old daughter was allowed to go on a ride which I asked before hand about to check she would be ok and I was assured she would be fine. Well she wasn't! She smashed her face up and was clearly falling around everywhere. I could clearly see what was happening and waved to the man to stop the ride but he wouldn't so I was just watching my poor daughter hurting and scared. Anyone could clearly see the ride needed to be stopped. When I complained about this I was given a huge amount of defensive attitude and they were not interested in my daughters injuries one bit. I had to keep aking for an ice pack as her face was bruising and swelling very fast. I was discusted with their general attitude and the personalities of the other ride operators left a lot to be desired. My daughter then wanted to go home and I had a bag full of tokens left which the manager laughed and refused to give me my money back for them. Complete prat.

“Small theme park but good rides and GREAT price”

★★★★☆

written by coasterjamie on 29/12/2011

Now I am a fan of massive theme parks with colossal roller coasters and everything, but this is good too. It is a small amusement park (NOT A FUNFAIR) which has various rollercoasters including one thrill coaster with a loop, and a fantastic drop tower ride. It also has thrill rides like their new Speed flip ride, a log flume and lots of kids and family rides including two fairly small roller coasters. The main good thing about this park it that with it being only £10 to go on rides all day and not many queues you can get on a lot of good rides. Also, you can go in for free and get tokens which are for people who only want to go on one or two rides, or just sit and watch for free. The only downside with this park is their looping roller coaster, KLONDIKE GOLD MINE. While it is a great ride it is very rough in places, and while the loop the loop is very smooth the park after it often results in jolts to the head as it hits your over-the-shoulder-restraint. The train for the ride is made up of three sections, and the one that gives off the smoothest ride is the middle carriage, although when the train is full (meaning slightly faster) that can still be a bit rough. Overall this park is great fun and I would reccomend it to people who hate queue lines (as this rarley has any), people who just like the idea and people on a small budget. There is another park a bit like this that is quite near it at Southsea (Portsmouth), but this park is not as good and more expensive. Funland is a good day out which can be enjoyed by all, just avoid the Klondike roller coaster if you have any kind of back/neck trouble.
