My wife booked a flight with Fareshopbecause of cheap advertised fares. But the next day they called back and said that the seats quoted were taken and said we had to book another flight at a higher cost and a layover! When I spoke to them they said we would be charged a cancellation fee if we canceled. I argued and got a fair price on the original flight (higher than originally quoted but same as I could have gotten through the airline). Besides the price bait-and-switch, I have never had a more difficult, confusing, infuriating experience getting an airline ticket!! I was actually a little worried about getting the actual ticket and boarding pass and thought it might ruin my vacation. I probably spent 2 hours on phone with them.

Please don't even try to enter this website, when you book ticket they don't send ticket to you, next day you get calls from this company some random people call with fake names and accent, they will convince you change routes and dates they will offer you good deal after payment and same ticket they will also sell if they get good deal. they will give you hard time on refund, there is no grantee on ticket, they never send you real itinerary.

Please don't fall into their trap.

They show you nice prices and then the ticket prices go up and they call you to say it's not their fault. And then they're going to find a deal and it's always more expensive. It's a scam, because the cancellation, even if it's not your fault, is charged US$100. It is a scandal!!!

And they protect themselves supposedly that these are the rules of the site.

I have just booked two flights to new york with fareshop.The gentleman who i dealt with ,named [name removed] could not have been more helpful and also said if we had any queries,that we should not hesitate to phone back any day up to departure date and also when we arrived back.He was very polite and patient with any minor questions i asked .

I can obviosly only comment on my experience with company but i found them very professional.

I had scheduled to travel Houston at last moment and looking for cheap ticket. This company offered my very competitive price and most important was, they helped me to get my US VISA through ESTA registration..

They are very helpful and professional. I have received my e-ticket and insurance.

A confirmed and paid for flight suddenly increases in cost by 100 pounds and I am expected to pay the difference. Rude unintelligible staff who did not phone back when they said they would and I was made to feel it was my mistake. Atrocious service. I had to hold the phone at arms length because they were shouting so much.

I have booked my flight ticket to Australia (Sydney) with Fareshop and it was very pleasant experience with this company. Company is ATOL protected...(which i was more concerned about)

I received my tickets and invoice with 24hrs after the booking.
