They were lifter, took our money and then didn't book the hotels when we travelled. They asked for more money when we were in the country to secure a hotel?? What backward inbred thinking is this? Avoid at all cost, nobody should spend their money here

Everything was in order and upon reaching to Saudi Arabia we had a best travel guide along who was very friendly and responsible. We had a great journey of Umrah with Al Haram Travel.

Booking was quick and in very short time. Tickets and overall package was cheap, in our budget. We were very comfortable there, in our entire journey, the brother hafiz who was guiding us and helping us in every turn of our journey. May Allah bless him with good future success.

We booked our Umrah trip in August 2016 with Al Haram and paid for the flights upfront with the travel agent. We were going as a family of six.

Two weeks prior to departure in December 2016 we paid the outstanding amounts and handed in our passports to the visas.

Up until five days prior to the departure date we still had not received our passports back and I was very concerned.I phoned the travel agent and they said that there was a problem with their hotel agent in Saudi and that our hotel in Medina may be changed. I accepted this change reluctantly as they were swapping it to another 5 * hotel.

Two days prior to departure I was told they were also going to change the hotel in Makkah from the clock tower to a hotel 15 minutes walk away. They said as it was such short notice there was no availability close by. I was very upset as I could see on expedia and booking.com that there was availability in the clocktower hotel for those five nights but it would cost them £3500, however they were offering me a hotel which was only costing £800.

I was told that my passports were ready only two days before departure.

The travel agent apologised and said that there were 150 other passengers who were also being affected by this Saudi hotel agent.

The travel agent would not give me any hotel in the clocktower and said he would be happy to refund me the hotel portion of the total amount so that I can book another hotel of my choice.

Unfortunately I had no choice but to accept these two new hotel changes.

At both hotels I had to struggle with the check in desk staff as no one could find our bookings and senior management staff had to get involved.

The hotel in Medina was acceptable but the hotel in Makkah was dismal- it was more 3* than 5* and would take 20 minutes to walk to the haram each way. The food was poor, and our room was not cleaned for the entire 5 days we stayed there.

Please do not use Al Haram travel or their sister companies.

Asslam o alykum, I traveled with alharam travel last month as we went on umrah and had an amazing experience. They made our journey so easy and comfortable by providing us the best flights, hotels and transport services. Everything during our trip was perfect as all the services were of high quality.
