Redwood do not deal with claims directly but you are referred to another organisation called One Claims. One Claims have had my Claim for 7 weeks and despite repeated requests for an update on the progress of a very straightforward claim fully supported by documentation that do not reply.

I have been using Redwood Travel Insurance now for about three years. I stumbled on it the way you do when you are looking for travel insurance at reasonable cost, with good coverage, and especially for older people. Each time I have applied for it online, I have found the website very easy to use, very clear with lots of options in coverage. I shall certainly be using this insurance in the future. I make frequent trips to the USA.

My partner and I were looking for travel Insurance for a trip to Egypt. We found that a lot of Insurance companies covered Egypt as area 3, however Redwood class Egypt as Europe so we saved over £20. The staff were extremely helpful and ran through all the different options to tailor make the policy for me. I will definitely be using Redwood again.

As an 80year old traveller I was dreading the premium I would have to pay for 2 weeks holiday in Turkey until I came across Redwood. My Glaucoma is accepted with no additional premium and the rate quoted was terrific especially as it does not have any excesses (an option when booking).I will certainly be looking at other insurances when they arise. Hopefully I will not have to make a claim but my experience of speaking to their helpful staff makes me think there will not be a problem. Cover for most eventualities are generous and the whole policy beats competitors by a mile.

traveling with 80y parent to USA and Canada, usually we pay as much for her insurance as we do for the flight ....with Redwood we saved £400 !!!! cannot comment on what they are like when it comes to making a claim, but so far, fantastic rate and very friendly and professional on the phone. I will be looking at their home and business insurance next...
