Had to cancel a holiday due to family illness. This poor excuse for a company then pulled out every trick and excuse they could not to have to pay out- including finding definitions off the internet to counter the claim submitting (as they couldn't find anything suitable in their own T&C's)- however, when presented with a definition of the same word found on the internet which supported the claim, it wasn't accepted. A letter from a medical professional was also submitted to support the claim that we needed to stay at home, but this was also rejected as not relevant.
The wording of their claim rejection was pretty appalling and insulting- totally dismissive and defensive from the very first contact, with a definite tone that they've had your money and anyone submitting a claim is just being awkward or trying to fleece them.
With so much competition in this market, don't even consider this shoddy company- you'd be better off buying a lottery ticket with the money as the odds of getting anything out of this lot if anything goes wrong are higher than any lottery.
