My wife and I thought we had the perfect plan since we would be spending most of the year in Europe, and perhaps a month or so at home in the USA. $1,000 deductible, so most of the things I needed I had to pay. That's OK.
But when the second and third year renewals came in, there were 3 times as much as they had been in the beginning. I would never buy this insurance if I had to count on it for more than one coverage period.

I should have asked about the amount of rate increases year over year. It was information that was neither volunteered nor guaranteed.
