I booked our Barbados holiday after speaking to a consultant in a retail store. They emailed me, informing me 'only 5 seats left for the dates'. As there's three of us, I booked immediately for £3700. After thinking about the two remaining seats and the possibility of taking parents I checked to see if it was still available a few weeks later.

Rather surprisingly they were available and now £300 less in price! Wowza.

I contacted Virgin and after speaking to several people they agreed to refund the different blaming Virgin Atlantic.

So, I've kept my eye on this. It's now £1000 cheaper and their customer service has been nothing short of shocking, lying - telling me there's blocks released, changes to prices, customer cancellations. Any excuse, quite frankly.

Ultimately as a customer you're purchasing from the Virgin brand. To tell a customer only 5 seats are left, when quite frankly that's not true to close a sale is the worst kind of miss selling I can think of.

I've been on several Virgin Holidays. As you can guess, they'll never see another penny from my family ever.

Shame on you Virgin, I'm sure Richard Branson would be disgusted if he knew.

The same thing happened to us. We booked a special one off deal. A month later it was £300 each cheaper. I rang the call centre and told to e-mail when I did I got back to phone. It is a good loop system. I wrote to Crawley head office and tried to write to Mr Branson no luck. I lost my deposit my holiday, I had just lost my mum and Virgin has lost my custom, that was 3 years ago. I have nothing to do with any Virgin products anything in the post goes in the bin without opening. India 60
