US Western Discovery Tour /September 2013

We packed such a lot in to our 15 days. A broad range of interesting venues. Both our tour guide and bus driver couldn't have done more to make our trip enjoyable. All the canyons were spectacular. Especially Bryce & Antelope. Rain & fog in Grand Canyon meant views were restricted & flight cancelled which was soooo disappointing. San Diego & San Francisco were particular city favourites. Inclusive tours were very informative. Journey along the Pacific from San Fra very picturesque.
Phoenix best hotel, pity about breakfast only being available going through the smoky casino. Vegas hotel, Circus Circus was tired & shops trashy but on the + side it was central.
Fridges in all hotels would be appreciated.
We were told our days eating options in advance & stopped at supermarkets so we knew what to cater for.
No 'welcome reception' on arrival.
Optional Tours including a meal - the ones we took were good.
The rain in the canyons & fire in Yosemite caused some problems but due to our tour guide's efficiency we made the most of each situation.
Before we booked it would have been useful to have links to concert & theatres with dates (including free evenings) that we would be at venues.
Our group was really friendly and all we talked to enjoyed the trip.
