I am really shocked at the negative reviews regarding this company as we booked our holiday through this company for match 2020, during our holiday the CV pandemic hit and we were in lanzerote. The company contacted us straight away and gave us all the information we needed about our travel home. They were extremely helpful and kept in touch even when we got home to make sure we had managed to get home safe. I was so impressed with there overall customer service that I am looking to book with them again our holiday price was the cheapest and we even got private transport as cost was so low and transport to and from the airport was excellent. I hope this wasn't just a one off and that we were lucky because I am looking forward to going on holiday with them again.

“AVOID AT ALL COSTS ”

Avoid TRAVELSOON at all cost I booked my summer holiday back in January with TRAVELSOON before all this pandemic started. Since lockdown everything have just got WORSE. I have tried to contact them several times to try and cancel my holiday in order to get a refund, as the FCO as its NOT SAFE TO FLY and if I do go ahead i invalidated my insurance. I was offered back in april a credit note, to change my holiday date or if I default on a payment I WOULDN’T GET ANYTHINK (which I understand). However, getting closer to my holiday I felt it was time to cancel so tried to contact them and was refused all option. All I got was the flights are still live so NOTHING THEY COULD DO. Even when I pointed out they had offered me to change the dates earlier on for free that was now not the case they wanted MORE MONEY. Even tho if I booked it it was still under the price I have already paid. ALL I WANT IS MY MONEY BACK OR CHANGE MY DATES but they still think its ok to keep asking for more money. I booked this feeling excited but its just been a nightmare. DON’T EVER BOOK WITH THEM THEY CANT BE TRUSTED ALL THEY& WANT IT MONEY DON’T CARE ABOUT THERE CUSTOMERS!!!

“Fab holiday - no complaints ”

I have just got back from a trip to Tenerife for 10 nights all inclusive which I booked through travel soon. I won't lie, after reading many reviews for this travel agents (after booking and paying a deposit!) I was really apprehensive and immediately regretted it. However in all honesty I have had no problems what so ever. We even had flights booked with Ryanair which were on time and no issues apart from the extras you have to pay but that's a separate issue. The price quoted for the holiday was what we paid and was slightly cheaper than first choice. Any emails I sent the company, I got a response within 24 hours (unless it was the weekend) and I even got refunded a late charge they tried to charge me. The only complaint I capfuls say is that it's not as convenient as a package holiday say with Thompson. As we did have to find our own transfers at an allocated tranfer desk as opposed to them being on the doorstep when you arrive. but it wasn't much of an issue at all and for the price was pretty cheap. Hotel was lovely and the all inclusive was well worth it. We stayed at the playa la arena in Tenerife. I promised myself if we had a good time I would leave travel soon a good review and we did, with no problems at all and little to complain about.

“Absolute Rip Off”

Please don't ever get involved with this company. It's so corrupt I'm taking Legal Advice. 8,640.00 quote turned out 9,200,00. The underhand tactics they use to take money from you makes you sick to the stomach. The agent once we received the final payment refused to reply to my emails, phone calls, He's on Holiday, He's off Sick. He's not in today, I phoned the complaint department who stood by there agent. I got a quote which seemed good value and ended up paying nearly 600 pounds more. Like most people we work very hard all year round. I'm self employed and my wife is a Nurse. So money is tight. All I'm doing is Warning people how dishonest this company are. Please Be Very Very Careful because they will Rip you off. I've also received a message from the Rip Off Britain team who I've shared my experience with dealing with this Company. So My Warning is go to another company because I'm going to fight this all the way. Local, Papers, Radio. Social media. Will know all about this awful company and its Agents.

“Don't book”

Booked 3 night holiday with this company only to find out we travel back on the third night. Now it's my fault. Do not book with them. Horrible customer service. And spoke to admin and they said nothing we can do for me and I'm lying

“Paying your Deposit”

Be careful when paying the deposit on hour holiday, when paying our deposit we were advised to remove luggage to keep the credit charge cost down and add luggage back on later. When I asked if the cost of luggage would go up and I was advised it wouldn't, I questioned this again and was told the cost of luggage hadn't increased during the whole time she'd been booking holidays so the cost of the luggage would stay the same. I wasn't convinced and asked for the luggage to be added back in but was told there's no need, to keep the credit card charge down we'll remove the luggage. When paying the balance on our holiday travelsoon wanted double the amount originally quoted for the luggage. When we complained, customer services were very poor, they didn't ring back, we had to constantly chase and eventually, having called them again we were advised they'd listened to the calls and the operator hadn't said any of the above. I was told they could send me the tapes and when I agreed I was told there'd be a £10.00 charge. When paying the balance Travelsoon told us luggage would be 95.00 per case but when we looked on the airline site it was 75.00 return. When I raised this with travelsoon they said they don't make money on luggage and it was 90.00 not 95.00 as written down by my husband. Customer Services are terrible, we were told we couldn't take our complaint further and basically told to go away. Because I was booking the holiday for three families, I wrote down everything I discussed with the operator and made reference to this when raising my concerns with their admin team to be told what I was saying wasn't the case!. I certainly won't be booking any further holidays with this company and based on how they treat their customers I wouldn't recommend them to anyone else.

I travelled to lloret de mar with this lot BIG MISTAKE I was told the apartment alloted to me did not exist hence I was walking around at midnight trying to find a Hotel room did eventually but did leave nasty taste in my mouth and a great start to holiday I have since sent several emails which they have ignored and still refuse to therefore it has been taken up with Abta and Atol as a company such as this should be closed and forbidden from ever trading again their Customer service is non existent DO NOT USE THESE CHEATS

I am going holiday 3 times a year with different companies . I never seen any liar people like travel soon . I waste my money and holiday cancel hotel and the rest . I will take them to the court soon to get my money back.

Phoned several times to try to get prices for a holiday. The first girl sounded very disinterested didn't ask for my name or make any pleasant conversation. On phoning back to book the next person said she could get nothing like the price and the transfer prices I had been given were wrong(She was quite pleasant). So back to the drawing board and the next phone call was met by someone very patronizing and I ended up telling her that I was the customer and put the phone down.....What a near miss, I could have booked with them, Phew!!

“PLEASE AVOID”

I booked a holiday with Travelsoon when I seen a good deal online, there was not an option to book online so I rang the company. The price had already gone up when I spoke to an agent, apparently due to flights and only a number of seats were available at that special price. When I went to pay for holiday the travel agent added an extra ticketing fee for short distance airline travel which I was told would go directly to the airline. In this case Ryanair. When I received my holiday Itinerary the price was broken down differently. Part went straight to the airline and another went straight to the hotel and there was an outstanding cost of £112 described as 'NEW SELLING PRICE' I was already told £12 was for using my credit card. I was not happy with this explanation so rang the travel agent back to advise me who the £112 had gone to. The travel agent explained that she did not sell me the holiday broken down in that way she gave me a total cost. I asked if they charge a booking fee or commission and she said no. she advised me she wouldn't know about how the company break it down and I would need to contact the accounts team. I called the accounts team and queried what 'New Selling Price' refereed to, I don't think the adviser I spoke to knew herself, she kept trying to tell me it had gone to the airline, which of course I knew had not. As Ryanair had taken their amount directy from my account. I explained I was not happy and I wanted to know where the extra money had gone to, she quickly spoke to a manager and said she could refund me half of the 'New selling price' and then look into the other half and ring me back. I agreed to this but never got a phone call back.I have since rang again and have been completely fobbed off. I explained that the travel agent should sell the price of the holiday at the same breakdown as the confirmation email.

they don't even deserve 1 star, I would never use these again I got the holiday from a price comparison site which said 1 price and they said another so we changed dates and airports as she said would be cheaper (little did I no)we agreed on the holiday went through names etc got to card details and it had gone up £150 I asked what the hell she said like I just explained the air fares tax of some sort I said no way I was paying that, so we got round to another 1 paid for it etc and I looked and thought she charged extra on my flights when it clearly stated all taxes included I also when on there website and my holiday was £130 cheaper so 3 days later I called questioned them and I was told prices change u no and yes I get that but the holiday was still£130 cheaper weeks later she said we cant refund u just cos the live price has changed very rude ,i think trading standards need to be informed

“Terrible customer service”

After booking what was described as an ultra all inclusive by the agent to Belek in Turkey we have arrived to find out we have been completely mis sold this holiday. When booking I made the agen aware, I was reluctant to book turkey however for value for money, weather and the quality of the hotels we would consider it. We were aware our chosen hotel had several al a carte dining optioions, the agent confirmed this stating there was 8. When we arrived we discovered not all were open. The agent also stated as this was an ultra all inclusive no cover charge / fee would apply to dine in these restaurants. However when we want to book at the hotel we are now being told there is a €20-25 per head charge. We made the agent aware before booking this was a huge factor as we don't like the standard canteen style all inclusive so no room for confusion on what we were looking for. Since we have called the agents on 4 separate occasions, emailed countless times after being promised call backs within the hour. 36 hours later we have had a call to advise it will be looked into asa they have the recorded call. Customer service, unhelpful unapologetic, rude and sounds like they don't care. Will take up when back. Many better companies to book with, would consider wisely before booking with them.

“Overcharging Customers (Again)”

This is a Travel agency to avoid. I am another victim of there added "taxes" (fuel supplement) that gets added to the accommodation price. I was quoted from a travel comparison site at reasonable price but could not add flight baggage so had to phone them. I was given an overall price plus "fuel supplement tax" without a breakdown of the hotel and flight costs but for ease I accepted as the other half wanted this hotel. All good so far, until I received the booking confirmation in which I noticed the increased accommodation price from the original price. When challenged about the extra £100 added to the hotel they started off saying it was fuel supplement taxes until I reminded them that the increase was on the accommodation not the flights which they then ditched the "taxes" excuse and said prices can fluctuate, so obviously in the space of 5 minutes of getting a quote from the travel comparison site and phoning them the accommodation price increased by 15% without stating that over the phone. To top off all that I checked the flight breakdown with the airline and the original price per person was what was originally quoted plus baggage. The fuel supplement tax was included in the price already so they are just overcharging customers and adding money on to the hotel. Will not be using again.

“Transfer never turned up full refund refused ”

Transfer never turned up reception at my hotel didn't help me told me to get a taxi nearly missed my flight and now a2b transfers said it wasn't there fault and travel soon said it wasn't there fault and both refusing my refund either way I'm out of pocket and no one is bothered this has been going on since May 2016 and I only received a responce yesterday saying I'm not getting one as its not fair that I don't pay for any services they had provided how can they charge me and refuse to refund me for a service I never received ?? They left a woman on her own with 2 children in a foreign country on her own scrambling round trying to find money (I was all inclusive) for a taxi to the airport (receipt shown )that was 1 1/2 away absolutely disgusting I'm not letting this go untill I receive a full refund of my taxi money and a full refund of my transfer money that never turned up 25 phone calls later to them still no future forward travesoon have a complaints department that can't talk to you over the phone cause calls aren't recorded so email them takes them 3 weeks to respond to a email appalling never use either of you again bully boys that's all they are make you wait months and months hoping you forget about it well I'm not Asked to speak to a manger and they refuse to put me through Ive emailed ABTA and AITO and consumers association and citizen advise not letting this go

“Never Again”

Went to Malta with Travelsoon the hotel we booked (The Coral) was full on arrival. We were then taken to the Canifor apartments which were dirty and digusting. Stains and cigarette burns on the bed sheets (not to mention the pubic hairs). grease and dirt on the mini cooker I would not say it was just dirty but unhygienic and i Have the photos to prove it if was in the uk it would be closed by health and safety. After 6 hours of complaining to travel soon and trying to be moved we ended up booking our selves into another hotel at a cost of 750 euros. Travelsoon was supposed to be helping us get a refund but didnt really try to hard told us all we were offered was £218 and used the excuse that we were the ones who walked away from the hotel, well we didnt fancy a night sleeping ontop of our suitcases outside so had no choice. I have only given it one star but it was far worse

“TERRIBLE”

I would never book through this agency ever again. Booked and paid via their website only to be told 2 days later that the flights I booked weren't actually available and Id have to fly from a different airport at an added cost. I agreed to this only to find when the invoice came through that the flights were in fact in cheaper and they had DOUBLED the accommodation cost instead. Spoke to the customer service department only to be told that they didn't need to give me the correct breakdown of the cost, only the total and that I would not be able to cancel anything. feel completely lied to and robbed. Spend the extra money and book through a proper company!

I booked a late holiday with this company for £824 - I was assured this was the best price so I went ahead - to my horror I found if I had approached Olympic holidays on line myself I would have got the EXACT same holiday for £713!!!!! I phoned them back and was told there was nothing I could do I couldn't even cancel as I would loose all my money!!! He told me she was in charge and that people use travel agents as they like them!!!!! I feel like I've been mugged - I would avoid this company like the plague!!!
