Worst booked tour, not worth your time

We booked our holiday to the Greek islands based around one of their tours 'discover kefalonia' I called Thomson the night prior to our excursion to double check our booking and confirm our pick up from our holiday apartment. We were told that everything was correct and we were to be picked up outside OUR apartment at 9.15 (I double checked this repeating 9.15 and our apartment name) we got up early and waited at the front gate at 9 sure not to miss the pick up. At 9.20 a cab arrived to pick us up, I thought nothing of the 5min delay and the driver dropped us off at a larger hotel telling us to wait outside the bus will pick us up for the tour here. We waited till 9.50 till another Thomson tour bus turned up and aske the reps where our bus was the rep jut exclaimed your bus leaves here at 9.15 not your apartment you've missed it! So utterly disappointed as we were so looking forward to this tour it ruined our holiday plans and it was in no way our fault! They messed up the pick up drop off times and they did not bother to call or check if we were arriving for the bus. We called their line asking what was going on only for the lady to call back saying they don't know what's going on and that there is no possible way to still get us on the tour. They did however get us a can back to our apartment an I am meant to be getting a full refund but that's just really not good enough. We met an elderly couple outside who tried to help us and told us the same thing happened with their Thomson tour in Mallorca. So best bets book with someone else we heard Panem is really good and about £40 cheaper.
