“ROOM UPGRADE”

Just back from barcelo hotel fuerteventura where we have stayed about 4 times previously knowing this hotel i must say in my view i think they have lost the plot with its wellness upgrade which we paid £140 for at the travel agents and it is not worth the money.The upgrade was a superior room we got a normal room a bowl of fruit we got 2 oranges 1 apple and 2 kiwis on a plate in the fridge also 2 dressing gowns to borrow for the week we did not use and 2 pairs of slippers we did use because the floor was dirty.We spoke to a couple of people that had booked an ordinary room and they had received a superior room with jacuzzi in there room and a pool view at no extra cost nothing like what we got.Overall my wife and i was very disappointed.I would recommend this hotel because of its location but i would not recommend the upgrade unless you know what you are really going to get

We were conned in exactly the same way, paid for upgrade in shop and was very very disappointed with room offered by hotel, WORD OF WARNING ONLY UPGRADE ON ARRIVAL WHEN YOU CAN INSPECT ROOM BEFORE PAYMENT.
