Teletext holidays dishonest selling avoid

Phoned teletext to book a small villa in menorca, saw the price they had advertised was very good and wife loved the place from the pictures on site..started the booking with a pleasant chap on the end of the phone who went on to slip in a slightly higher price than advertised £9 a head ( not a lot I know but still not the advertised price ) I picked up on this and the chap told me the prices for flights had updated, having the website in front of me I was able to see there was a update time of almost 2 hrs earlier when I had first seen the holiday so I accepted this..towards the end of the booking process which was lengthy and difficult ( you are talking to a call centre I think outside of UK) the gentleman asked if I would like to upgrade my holiday for a further £ 50 a head I declined and was told the holiday I had booked was for one small room not the 2 bedroom 4 person villa I had expected a little annoyed I declined the upgrade and was going to cancel the whole booking, when I was offered the upgrade as special deal for £40 a head but if I wanted to upgrade when I arrived at the destination it would cost over £200 as my wife was looking very disappointed sat opposite me I decided to agree to the extra cost...you can imagine my feelings on arrival at my holiday destination only to find there was no single room villa or single room accommodation at all! I had been clearly ripped off ( I had also checked back on the website after completing the booking only to find the website update time had changed and the extra £9 a head was also a ripoff the price had not changed) I received my flight details only 4 days before flying which was somewhat unnerving and received no information or the correct address or contact numbers for the accomodation, from teletext . I had to enquirer from people on tripadvisor who had been to the resort to get the correct details and then contact the proprietor ...not the most relaxing run up to our holiday although once there and away from anything teletext everything was fine and we had a great time...but be warned stay away from teletext !
