We returned from a holiday in Kos May this year,new booked the holiday and a few weeks before flying we were told the flight had changed, which meant we lost a day, when you are only going for a week this is a lot. I wish we had read more review on Olympic holidays, as plenty of other people have had the same problem and the same patronising, non committal responses.
We were so late getting to the hotel, we were kept waiting 45 minutes before we got our key and not even offered a drink, when you have travelled you just want a showere, drink, eat and bed. We were to,d the restaurant had food............some left over salad from 5 hours ago, quite frankly you wouldn't have fed it to an animal. You effectively miss out on a day when they change your flight and a meal.
We stayed at the Sentido Carda Beach, the lift was not working for the whole week we were there, it was warm and very steep hill in the heat was quite exhausting at times, not somewhere I would recommend unless you are young and fit and don't mind sweating every time you want to go to your room. The worrying thing is that we have written two letters to Olympic holidays and had two letters back, quite franking fobbing us off with excuses. Clearly once they have your money and you have had your holiday they couldn't give a damn. I would NEVER use the company again, We have travelled considerable over the years like many others, but I have never had to write and complain before. Before booking with Olympic read all you can about them, go for a more professional and well known company, don't use Olympic unless you want your holiday flights changed, you want to miss out on a day, and to top it all poor excuses in the way of a response to your complaint.
