i had booked a room through your website just a 1 night stay at £69. I was then contacted by the very nice lady who owned the b&b to tell me the room was booked and had been for weeks, she was very apologetic and gave me some other numbers but did suggest i contact Late Rooms direct if i had no joy, which i did. I explained the situation and that i had a disabled child so the property i had booked would have been ideal as it had a small kitchen in the room which meant after travelling we would not have to go out again in search of somewhere to eat. I was offered a room 10 miles away at a cost of £129 quite a difference which i could have found myself. I have ran a hotel for a well known chain and if we had overbooked we arranged accomodation in another hotel and we paid the difference, obviously things have changed!Your collegue did cancel the original booking for me but made no apology. I have now booked with another company as yours has left me with no faith as to whether we will have anywhere to stay.
