I like the search facility on Laterooms that lets me sort hotels by the distance from where I need to be, and to filter out those that don't interest me. Its simple to use, quick to book. The only things to watch out for are 1) make sure you have the right to cancel if you think your stay might need to change (date) and 2) make sure breakfast is included if you need one !
