Park Inn, York

My first choice of Hotel was fully booked. The advisor, who I found to be very
pleasant and most helpful, offered a selection.
To my horror, on arrival, and having parked my car in the secured car park,
I found out that there would be an aditional £12.00 to pay for parking fees, prior to departure.
This was not mentioned to me, at time of booking, and at the time of arrival.
The room was o.k., but the television kept pixelating, which was most annoying. The at 5.30 a.m. I was awoken by a refuse collection vehicle.
I arrived for Breakfast at 7.30 a.m., and found that the service levels were very poor. Having selected a Table, I went to the food selection area, and came back to my table, only to findd someoneelse sitting there.
The Breakfast itself was very poor. Eggs were overdone, Bacon was like rubber. Not good value at all.
I will not return to this hotel in future, and will book on my own initiative.
