It started so well. Found a suitable hotel and made the booking. Everything confirmed and due to arrive on 30/07. Hotel rang early afternoon on 28/07 to inform us that due to a problem with water (difficult to understand the caller completely whose English was not 100%) that they were forced to cancel the booking and would refund our money. My wife is completely devastated and we have virtually no time to make an alternative booking. We don't know whether Late Rooms .com will be able to salvage anything from the wreckage. What happens tomorrow will be crucial.

Hi, Booking Ref: 22941381 Elsinore Hotel. We had an e-mail, which arrived after we had left for Wales but we are unable to send a reply for technical reasons presumably at your end. We would like to know the reason that the hotel had to cancel at such short notice and as they promised us a full refund, how this will be paid.
