Booked two flights tickets to go to Vancouver which I unfortunately had to cancel on 17th October 2015. I was told that it will take between 8- 16 weeks before I shall get a partial refund which was fine. At the end of 16 weeks sent an email to Last Minute on 31st January which was followed with a phone call two days later. I was told that it will take 7- 10 days for the money to be refunded. Heard nothing until Last Minute sent an email on 29th February in response to my 31st January email asking for my bank details which I provided. On 1st March was told that it will take 7- 10 working days before the refund will be made. Finally on 15th March I got the refund.

It took 23 weeks instead of the initial 8- 16 weeks I was told before I got the refund. I have booked holidays or just flights with Last Minute on numerous occasions in the past but no more after this episode. Just imagine if I depended on the refund to book another trip I would have had to wait nearly 6 months. Staff at Last Minute are forever apologising. If only they were competent and efficient at what they do there would have been less need to apologise. I wonder if the owners of Last Minute read the feedback or are they just interested in the money that the company is making.

I would advise future potential customers to think twice before booking with last Minute.
