these are just some of the words that describe the conversation that I would use to describe the conversation that I have just had this evening with 'Jeff' who was very clearly foreign and certainly not a 'Jeff'...

After calling with a reference number from a deal in Turkey with Icelolly.com and taking card details he then proceeded to tell my partner that he was going to now be charging us both extra for baggage, hand luggage, admin fees, checking in fees (yes-£30 to check in at Luton Airport or £12 online from my own home!!!). This eventually took the £287 holiday (each) to over £340 (each).
We just agreed as this, for a weeks All Inclusive to Turkey in October was still very reasonable!

'Jeff' then informed us that he would call us back in 15 minutes to confirm everything, but in this time we would be receiving flight booking and holiday booking information.

During this time we came across this forum with the shocking details on the company and how they appear to be professionals at scamming us good natured Brits! Naturally we succumbed to the fact that he would clearly be calling back to tell us that the flights/hotel/air space/country would be unavailable on these dates for these prices....

40 minutes late (and no emails) 'Jeff' did indeed call us back and, low and behold, these flights were not infant leaving Luton airport anymore...but if we were to pay more and go for 8 days we could have different ones which are so much better...

I explained (6 times) that this was not possible due to work commitments only to be told I was stupid as they were better and I'm being ridiculous...

I then told him that we would like to cancel...on hold again...and wow he has managed to find even better flights on the days we wanted, from the same airport...for £69 each more and them £25 each more for luggage too....

I (again) told him that we can't do this (this would mean that the whole thing is now going to be over £290 more than we originally booked for) and I was shouted at, told I was being rude as he had wasted his time and I simply can't see that this is just the best holiday ever (3* Turkish cheap getaway)...shouting and insults later, I asked if he could comfort the cancellation via email to which I was told no, why should he and the phone put down....

So, hour later, credit card cancelled and no holiday......

What a nightmare, what a rude man, what a company!!!!
