Decided on a last minute theatre break with my daughters and mum. Looked through some of the reviews on line and picked The Strand Palace. Booked hotel and theatre tickets on line on Saturday and set off the following Tuesday. Received text giving directions to the hotel which was really helpful. Check in went smoothly the staff were efficient and friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean and although they were on the road side the noise wasn't too bad. The windows had wooden shutters on them which cut out 99 per cent of the light which made sleeping really easy.
Went by taxi to the theatre and picked up the tickets at the box office. No problems . The seats where good and the show was excellent.
This is the first time I have done this and I am amazed at how easy and smoothly it all went. It went so well we are planning to do it again soon.
