Well where do I start ...... I booked with hoseasons and was told for 2 weeks it would cost £1600,i explained that my son has special needs (autism) and would need space as it's a big thing for him to go on hoilday, I was told if I paid £2600 that would get me the best lodge at finlake. I chose to do this as this would help my son, upon arrival (we travelled from the isle of man 13 hours of traveling) we got our keys and went to the lodge, I have never seen anything so small, the carpet was loose and to use the phase you couldn't swing a cat is an understatement.... Due to my sons problems we have to Google and research where we was stopping and this wasn't where we was meant to stop. I went up to reception to explain my problems and the lady at finlake was lovely and could see on my notes that I needed a big space, she rang hoseasons who after been told about my son said they would refund me and to send me home. (at this point I was drained) I broke down crying and the lady at finlake refused for that to happen (thankfully) it was agreed that we stop in the small lodge for that night and I would be called at 9am the next day (that never happened) I got back to the lodge to find my son in total melt down and my youngest son who had tripped over the raised carpet and head butt the door, my eldest son wouldn't sleep that night so at 8.30 in the morning I went straight to reception hoping something would be done, again hoseasons was called and I was told I will be charged for one night and get a refund But I would need to leave the park, this is unacceptable , they offered me £410 refund(which they have put in)and moved me to a 4 person lodge even though we are family of 5!!! they then looked at moving me to another park, (as they wanted to make this situation right) which I was happy to do and they found somewhere.... Finally I thought I was getting somewhere only to be told they wanted another £1100 off me :(, so now with a family of 5 we are in a 4 person lodge, we have taken the complaint higher but been told that will take 28 days for them to respond..... I have no choice to stop in this lodge (yes I exepted but really had no choice, it was either that or go home) i would warn anyone who is going to book with hoseasons not to and go straight to the hoilday park it's self! You will be better looked after and please please please if you have any members of your family with special needs please do not put yourself or your family though what I have been though, so once I'm finally home hoseasons will then help me.! YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SHOCKING!!!
