I booked my honeymoon in July 2014 through love hoildays, they also work through other companies e.g hays travel and A2B transfers.
The booked process was simple, the flight was fine. And from there it went horribly wrong. After arriving in Turkey we made our way out of the airport to the transfers desks, our paperwork clearly stated we were to make our way to desk no.60 'elefti travel'. Unfortunately, when we found this desk we discovered it wasn't the right company. We then had to search, after our long flight, up and down the desks until we eventually found the one we needed. We were told to go to bus number 18, the bus driver spoke no English and asked us where we were going. We sat on the bus for 30 minutes until the next couple arrived. At this point the door was open but the air-conditioning wasn't on, definitely not ideal in 40 degree heat! We then sat in the bus for at least another hour until the desk operator finally came to tell us that we were waiting for another couple from a later flight. The paperwork I received from A2B travel clearly states that we would wait no more than 45 minutes after registering with your transfer representative. Finally we left the airport, nearly 2 hours after our flight had landed. The driver dropped off the other 2 couples which took an hour and a half, then drove another hour and half to our hotel. On his way the driver got lost and asked us for directions. I understand that there might be extenuating circumstances that mean he wasn't familiar with the area but I believe this was beyond ridiculous! When we finally arrived at the hotel which should have been a 5* spa hotel that looked just like the photos id seen online, it seemed we'd come to the wrong hotel. We apparently had been booked into the 3* sister hotel across the road that was vile, unclean and we were given a room with twin beds!! The error was blamed on a 'computer error' not false advertising. We were eventually moved 3 days into our 7 day honeymoon. All the companies don't seem to care and offered a frankly shocking little amount of compensation. Don't book with this company!!
