The worst company I have ever dealt with.

We booked Venice and Med Cruise. Their advert states 'Combine 2 nights in a central 3* hotel in romantic Venice.' After booking we discovered that our hotel was nowhere near Central Venice but a good 30 to 40 minutes journey away. Arrived at the hotel to discover that we were not expected and that no rooms were available. We were invited to sit in the lounge while the hotel tried to resolve the problem. They contacted F & P's 24 hour phone number, but there was no one available. Found another couple in the lounge who had the same problem. The hotel eventually found us alternative accommodation, but by now it was 11.00 pm. a whole night wasted. This new accommodation was a small family run hotel in some remote part of the countryside. It had no lounge, restaurant or bar. There were no local restaurants or bars and so we spent a second miserable night in our room. I complained to F & P who did nothing more than pass on my email to their agent somewhere in Europe. Neither the company nor this agent was prepared to acknowledge that we suffered any dissatisfaction that should be compensated for. Personally we found this company to be totally dishonourable, disreputable and a disgrace to it's clients. Never again.
