I booked a room for my elderly mom and sister who both are diabetic. They had to evacuate Fl and were on their way back. They were on the road over 10 hours and hadn't had the medication. The motel I booked lost electric and they were unable to check in. None of us were notified by Expedia nor the motel. I was on the phone over 3 hours with Expedia. They kept switching me to other people. The last one said the lines for discounts had shut down so they couldn't help me. I didn't care about the discount just need a room for my family. I have no idea where they were located but they had no clue as to what was going on. Their customer service is terrible and no compassion for people. Will never use again. Beware My family had to drive almost 24 hours straight
