Resort Hotel in Atlantic City

Terrible experience with expedia. I can put names and reservationn numbers if needed!
I took a short brake from work to enjoy one night in Atlantic City,New Jersey with my wife. I made reservation online and made the payment right away. I got the confirmation e-mail etc. Everything is nice and smooth up to this point however, when I drove 4,5 hours to AC and waited on the line to check-in I was told that they can not find any information about me. There was no reservation what so ever. There we go... I called expedia customer service and explained the situation. I was told the hold on the line several times, and I was kept on the phone for 1 hour 25 minutes ( I can send the copy of call log! ). I had only 1 afternoon and night to relax and chill however, thanks to expedia , for me to get in a room took entire afternoon.They do not even explain the problem, all they say oh,there was a problem we are trying to fix.. No, I refuse it, I have limited time to chill and I do not want this type of an inconvenience and kill my time on the phone with expedia to be able to get a room! Terrible experience, inconvenience service. Never expedia again.

I always email the hotel now before I leave to make sure they have my reservation
