“Awful Customer Service”

BEWARE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE---Booked a holiday over the phone & first of all I had difficulty understanding the staff as their English was very poor. There was no politeness. They just wanted the sale & get me off the phone. I felt I was rushed all the time I was on the line.Once my card details were given, they said they would call me back in 15mins to confirm booking. They did but also demanded another £60 as apparently "they couldnt get a direct flight". I haggled with the amount & got it down to £40 & "apparently" that was fine. What a load of rubbish. Never ever will I use them again. Everyone has strong accents but when you ask them for their names, they all have the common English names!!!!

“Do not use”

Booked through groupon for 3 nights in Rome. Flights offered meant arriving at 1am and departure was at 4am. Ended up being charged twice as much at £530 to change flights to a slightly earlier time and sit together. I've just phoned them to complete my check in online and we are not seated anywhere next to each other. Very rude and aggressive customer service. I do take responsibly for not being assertive enough. Please do be aware of what you are booking and don't get talked over when you book. It's meant to be an anniversary trip and I'm an anxious flyer so would have really liked to sit with my partner.

“Never use they over charge and there staff are Robots.”

This is the most awful holiday company ever that over charge for flights hotels it better booking direct with the airline or hotel. Or just use a company that look after you as a customer. Please please do not use they will overcharge and blame you for it.

“Trip to Barcelona ”

I only have praise for this company having been sceptical to start. Everyone I dealt with was polite . We sorted things out with ease . They took the air fare off one traveller as she lives in Spain anyway. We had reminders in good time of things that had to done along the way . Our return boarding passes were sent direct to the hotel for my collection. The hotel was in a great location and all the staff were very helpful . Thank you for making our trip stress free. Regards

“Shambles”

Stay well clear, what a noddy outfit. Customer service very poor, organisation skills poor, English language skills poor. As with other reviews the advertised dates were not available and had to pay extra for a different flight time, otherwise we would have had no time at the destination. Ask them a question on email and they send you a phone number. Eventually got our boarding passes from them a day before flying. Complete mess and stress through the roof. Clowns....

“Avoid at all costs”

Complete rip off booked a 3 night stay in iceland via wowcher. Too many added costs. Was promised a superior room and chicolates and champagne on arrival as it was a special occasion none if which was delivered. When i called clearsky they werent interested or bothered and told me this wasnt guarenteed it was just a request!! My daughter compained to the hotel manager and was told to such request was received and would not supply unless she paid for it!!! Ckearsky are liars.

“Absolutely avoid at all costs”

Don't use them; don't buy any services that outsource to them. They are incompetent, rude, have a conveniently poor grasp of the English language, and will keep you on hold for as long as possible in order to make additional revenue from calls. There wasn't anything I liked. Everything was a dislike.

“Quick to book and take your money!! No support...”

Booked a holiday in Iceland for our 20th Wedding Anniversary and took our daughter. Was very excited about this holiday and looking forward to the Northern Lights tour and the Golden circle tour all booked in advance. No Northern lights on first night, rearranged to 2nd night, and then cancelled to be rearranged for 3rd, but cancelled again. Tried to get a refund from clearsky for the trip for the 3 of us and have offered £36 as a total settlement. Where does it cost £12 per head?? This is a minimum of £38 per head!! This is a joke!! Spencer was very rude wouldn't let me explain, insinuating that I was the problem. Would not supply a breakdown of the holiday cost and was going away to listen to the recording of the booking made with the adviser and if he didn't mention the cost of the Northen Lights tour while booking then they would not refund the full amount!! What should have been a fab holiday ruined by the agents!!

“Clear sky holidays ”

Booked a 4 night trip to Iceland with tours included , later found out that the flight times would of used up 2 days of the trip the dates we had weren't available so was offered better flights and hotel on a different date at a cost of £100 eachb(6 of us ) . At this point I went crazy down the phone at the guy who soon changed everything again to give us an extra day and better hotel for £60 each . We were happy with this . The trip turned out to be fantastic . We had northern lights tour booked it occurred exactly as was booked , golden circle tour was booked and was a brilliant day and last tour was whale watching but the driver read our booking slip wrong and went without us to the boat , I rang clear sky to complain who rang the tour company and had a mini bus to come back and collect us all so we made the trip . The phone staff could not have been more helpful . The only frustrating thing iof using clear sky was the arranging flights and changing dates and cost at the beginning of it all . This was all booked through groupon originally .

“Awful”

After wanting to have the holiday of a lifetime for myself and partner I saw this amazing deal (what I thought was a good deal) and I was pressured into booking it so instead of the deposit being £300 it went up to £600 in total so feeling very nervous about this I was reassured at the time it was OK. So the very next day I has a call from them about paying the outstanding balance of £1500, so to my dismay I panicked and started to read online and come across this site. So I then rango them about the holiday and what I was getting foe my money to then being put on hold for a whole day speaking to 7 different people with English names but were clearly not English as they couldn't understand me as much as I couldn't them. So I'm now £ 600 down and it's a month before Xmas so I'm going to have a very disappointed partner. Please please I wish I read this before going ahead but with a legitimate company like wowcha I thought I'd be safe. Never never again .

Dear all, Just to worn you about the holiday company. Don't ever book your holiday through CLEAR SKY HOLIDAY!!!!!! Customer Service is rubbish, they are charging you extra cost for something which never exist. they are not helpful at all and very rude. Let this info spread to everyone. If you don't believe me read review on Google and trip advisor website. Trust me.

“Great holiday / great price”

I have never used Go-Groupon before and was very dubious about buying a holiday from them. I bought 2 vouchers for a trip 4 star all inclusive 2 night trip to Marrakech. After buying the vouchers I redeemed them with Clear Sky holidays. The sales rep was very helpful and polite. The flight times initially offered were not good but the sales rep found better flights from a closer airport for us. There was a small additional cost for flights but it did state in the voucher that this could be the case so was not a surprise. We also bought the transfer from the airport to hotel and return at the end of our stay. I then read all the terrible reviews for Clear Sky holidays. A little dubious we arrived at the airport in Marrakech and to our relief there was someone waiting for us. We were taken to our hotel which was all that it said on the tin. A lovely hotel with the all inclusive service that was offered and more. We were given a contact phone number of a rep should we have any problems or questions and details of our lift back to the airport. We had the best time ever whilst in Marrakech and lived up to all the expectations and more. Our return transfer to the airport was waiting at the time stated and we arrived home having had an awesome time. I can't fault the service of Clear Sky holidays. Any query we had prior to out trip was answered straight away. We were checked in and tickets sent to us and all documents sent to us within 12 hours of booking. Whilst we were there I received an e-mail advising us to get to the airport an hour early due to increased security checks. I would definitely use this service again and would recommend it to friends and family. We got a lot more than expected and great value for money. (I did price it all up if done independently and couldn't get close). Great service, great sales team and great holiday, thank you.

“This company is awful. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.”

I bought a Mystery City Break voucher with Groupon for 3 nights away. We were supposed to find out the day before we left what city we were going to in Europe. However, the day after booking I was contacted by Clear Sky to confirm dates and they told me where we were going. The agent I spoke with pressured me excessively to pay more for extras. When I refused these extras, he berated me and told me I was making bad decisions. He finally got me to pay an extra five pounds for free breakfast every morning, only for me to discover that the hotel offers free breakfast to all guests included in the price of the room. He claimed that he could only send us out on an extremely late flight and back on an extremely early flight, but if I paid an extra 40 pounds he would give us better flights. After I refused this upgrade, the bad flights were 'no longer available' and he said that I now had to upgrade if I wanted to go. I asked for his manager and he said that all his managers were 'in a meeting' and that no one could come speak to me. When I asked for his full name he said that he wasn't allowed to give it out. I have never had a customer service representative speak to me in such a rude and disrespectful manner. Upon filing a complaint with the company (via email and phone), I was told that they could not refund the 5 pounds for the breakfasts, or offer me anything in compensation. I was promised that the agent would be reprimanded, but I'm not holding my breath. This company is awful. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

“DO NOT USE CLEARSKY”

**DO NOT BOOK A HOLIDAY WITH THESE PEOPLE** I Booked a sort break through Go-Groopie for a break away in Dublin which included a 2 night stay in the crown plaza hotel or a hotel to the same standard or even higher (their words) and a Guiness factory tour. This was for 4 people including 1 disabled person, this was through ClearSky Holidays. We paid extra for better flights which wasn't a problem but when we arrived at our hotel.....I was horrified to find that our hotel was in fact a guest house above a Pizza shop! To get to the reception you had a flight of 20 stairs, this is impossible when you a disabled person with you who is in a wheelchair and no lifts. My husband rang Clearsky to expain the problem, they expained that we would have to pay an additional £220.00 to change hotel!!!!!!! We had no choice to pay this as we would have been sleeping on the streets. I am now trying to claim the additional payment back as this is not what was advertised! Has anybodyy else had the same experiance?? The problem I am finding is everyone you speak to is not of the British Race and this is proving rather difficult.

Clear Holidays- Delhi,Gurgaon, Noida based tour & travel pkg company showing very attractive Kerala tour package of 4night/5days in 8499 as its promotional tour. It includes Hotel stay, pickup & drop, Breakfast & dinner, sight scene for 4 adults. They ask us to pay only advance Rs.1,000/- & pay balance 7499/- after they will provide all hotel booking vouchers. After making payment of 1,000, they will send their invoice & receipt for the same & also send Hotel booking voucher with hotel logo & Clear holidays logo also on it and asking you now to pay balance 7499/-. After you pay the said amount. They will cancel all hotel bookings. They do online hotel bookings in Expedia / DOTW & cancel the same after getting your payments. * Then all their Mobile nos. will come switch off. I fall in this trap. I have their all 4 mobile nos. which are coming switch off now. They will stop replying to your mails. * Website registration is made in fake name & address which is not belongs to clear holidays. * They are using illegal logos of PATA, ASTA as I have contacted them & got the said written mail from them * I have tried to visit their Delhi office, but its fake address no clear holidays in said address * They have illegally issued Hotel voucher & print their logo on it. Hotel confirms they don't know Clear Holidays & illegally done the same. Requesting you to contact if you also fall in this racket / trap

“Appalling value and customer service. Total rip off.”

We bought a Wowcher deal for four nights in Iceland. When advertised Clear Sky/Jetline Travel listed about two months worth of available dates and the price should include departure from Gatwick or Luton. Having booked the agent had two days available over an eight week period as "all of their promotional flights had gone" and we had to pay supplements to fly from Gatwick and to choose a suitable time. By the time they'd added on all the hidden extras we could have got exactly the same holiday on expedia/last minute for £160 less. I complained to their head office who were both rude and incompetent. Basically they couldn't care less. I asked for a breakdown of the costs and she refused point blank. She did say she would speak to the hotel to see if she could upgrade our room as a gesture of good will and having spoken to the hotel they didn't even bother doing that. I've not even heard back from Wowcher. Don't use them.

Just a rip off, once you buy the voucher they then charge extra for flights, Totally mis represented I paid £149 x 4 to Barcelona for 3 nights by the time Clear sky had finished I was depaRTING AND ARRIVING AT DIFFERENT GATWICK TERMINALS AND TOTAL COST WAS £800!! OUCH!!!

“ Prague 3 day visit”

CLEARSKY holiday arrangements from Bookings, Transfer ,and Hotel was of a high standard. We had excellent service from Hotel staff. However RYANAIR managed to tarnish it ,Flight both ways Good on time. On the outward journey money was stolen from a regulation carry on bag which we were forced to put in Hold of aircraft even though there was room in the overhead lockers, possibly to make way for oversize bags.

Booked a trip with Clear Sky after finding them on Group on, their sales adviser pressured my purchase with the lie that there were on;y two seats left on the flight that I wanted, a fact that was not only untrue but cost me over £50 extra, they also tried to carge me 2 handling fees of £20 each wich I refused to pay and they then waived so I do not believe this charge exists.
