Holiday booked to Malta, later we had reservations about the hotel and the fact that we thought we might be moved to another hotel. After speaking to their customer services was told "no sir you will not be moved rooms or to a different hotel, we have this in writing from our room supplier"
When we arrived on holiday, no sea view room that he been booked and a supplement had been paid. The holiday was for a special birthday and to tie in with the fiesta that was taking place in front of the hotel, naturally we couldn't enjoy this as our room faced a side street.
Managed to get moved the following day and was promised a refund on the room and other compensation, received a "free tour" from the hotel manager but no monies.
On our return from our short break contacted broadway travel customer services after 6 weeks received a written reply, no money to be offered and we should of contacted them when we arrived in resort to notify them of our issue. Strange as we arrived on a Sunday and the customer service dept are closed! Also to call them on a mobile costs 50p per min from the UK so god knows how much from Malta!!!! Although they did state that they had received written confirmation that we shouldn't be moved and acknowledge that we were, a member of staff agreed that they hadnt kept their part of the contract but still won't do anything else.
Currently awaiting a further call from them to discuss further although not holding my breath.
