Do not trust the greedy evil unscrupulous company

I booked a room in London for seven nights, and received an email saying that my booking was confirmed and guaranteed. However, a week later, I received an email saying that there had been an error, and the cost of my room was going to be almost 25 times the price I had agreed to! Of course, this price was unacceptable, but Despite the fact that the error was entirely their fault, and despite the fact that they made things even worse by waiting a week to do anything about it, I have not been offered a single penny in compensation, or even a discount on an alternative room. Their terms of service states, "Booking.com is committed to customer satisfaction. We will try to resolve any concerns or problems with our services that you have." Yet they have not tried to resolve anything in my case. They've shown a complete lack of decency, trustworthiness, or concern for the huge inconvenience, frustration, and waste of time their errors have caused me. This company is not to be trusted or believed.
