“Worst hotel ever”

I have never stopped in a worst hotel than the Queens Hotel in Gibraltar in all my life and I have travelled to many different countries.The hotel is noisy. It is like a race track outside and there is no double glazing. We had to buy ear plugs.It smells of mould and must and the decoration leaves a lot to be desired. bathroom is disgusting and the shower is not functional. The bathroom fittings are collectors items like my grandma had in her bathroom. We could not stand up to shower as the attachment doesn't work.There is one double power point which is not sufficient..You have to disconnect tv to charge your phone and use hair dryer.the lift sounds like it is going to break down. The breakfast was adequate but it was like being in Fawlty Towers!. The beans were cold and I felt like we were being rationed with butter etc.We booked 2 nights 5-6 th April and if I had not paid up front we would have left after one night. I am looking forward to going home for a good sleep. The only good thing was free parking!. When I booked on booking.com I was not aware that the hotel is being knocked down in the next few weeks

This hotel is of inferior quality and is to be knocked down shortly which is a good indication of how bad it it
