“HORRIBLE on REFUNDS!”

Been waiting for over 6 months on a refund. As countless reviews indicate, this company just gives you the run-around LITERALLY! Supervisors are never available, representative just tell you what you want to hear to make you think they are working on your refund, and they stop replying to your emails. I called the airline DIRECTLY and learned that Air Fast had not submitted a refund request, therefore, the airline is not even processing a refund and there is nothing that I can do because I did not purchase it from the airline directly, i went through Air Fast. The airline hinted me that such companies hope that I forget about the refund so they can pocket my money! This is BS! Where the heck are their ethics? Air Fast keeps telling me they are waiting on their Accounting Dept and there is no way I can speak to that dept directly, it's all internal. I'm just wondering if here is anything we can do to report them... I'm willing to call the media if I have to.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A YEAR FOR A REFUND DUE ME. Neither American airlines or air fast want to refund my money on a trip that American Cancelled. Dont deal with either one or you will be SOOOOOOO SORRY. As of 4/7/2014 you can no longer can call them. Something should be done with corporations like these  Once again stay clear of both

Could not agree more! I am still waiting on a refund - nine months now! I email them every other day and now they just ignore me. Have now sent a letter to an office in London - recorded delivery! However I do not hold out much hope. They probably resold the tickets and made a profit but I do not intend to give up! There should be a law against companies like this and they should be held to task for not refunding money due to customers. BEWARE!

The company no longer trades, it was pushed into administration last year and into liquidation today. If you want to make a claim, and it would be much easier simply claiming against your credit card issuers, you need to contact the liquidators. They hope there may be some payments to creditors but if you haven't been in touch they cannot pay you. Contact FRP Advisory LLP at 2nd Floor, 110 Cannon Street London EC4n 6NU

“AVOID this company ”

I booked a two way flight with this company and had to cancel my flight because my father was diagnosed with cancer and required immediate surgery. Initially, I contacted the company to see if I could change one lag of my flight (as I live in a different country from my parents) because I needed to get home to them as soon as possible. I was told by a representative that I would need to cancel my entire flight and in order to get a refund I needed to submit supportive documentation of the surgery, which I did. I contacted the company on numerous occasions to get the status of my refund and I was then told that there was no issuing of a refund. So I went to the airport for the return lag of my flight and once there I was told that I had no booking. They cancelled that portion of my flight without even notifying me. When I contacted the company they said they cancelled my booking because they were issuing me a refund. Which was a complete surprise to me because as I said, they told me it would not be issued. Since then, it has been over 8 months and they have not refunded me despite numerous calls and emails. This company is despicable!!! Who tries to make a profit off of someone's family tragedy?!!! My advice is avoid this company at all costs.

Stay away from this "agency". Ukrainian airlines canceled our tickets because of change flights with full refound. The story the same... from 6 November they told us 30 working days, it comes 50. Email, phones, facebook messages, lies and nothing more. Koklonis was awarded as the best businessman this year!!! this agency now trying with fake reservation to be sell in chinese...Give our money back and after...be business man mr lamogio. AFT accepted a booking for flights to Istanbul with British Airways in May 2014. They then cancelled the existing flights and offered earlier, far less manageable flights (these had previously been quoted at a cheaper price, no offer of refund of the difference.) I declined the alternative flights and selected the full refund offer. It is now Feb 2015 and I have been constantly fobbed off. No refund has been paid. British Airways has assured me that they paid the refund to AFT within 10 days! The battle goes on!!!!!

“Waste of time”

Posting flight listings that are not available. In two days, I was able to get confirmation of a booking but in few second, get cancellation email with unfounded reason. The second day, was able to get to the last stage of the process only to find out, it's not available anymore. I am providing sensitive Credit Card Information every time they process. I don't know if they are for real. This company is dangerous.

I bought a ticket with airfast tickets in June 2014 to fly from HCMC to Hong Kong. My flight was cancelled 2 days before I was supposed to fly, apparently the flight was no longer running. Thus I started the refund procedure, which after countless emails, I still have not received anything! It has been 7 months now (Jan 2015)! I have received nothing but lies and empty promises, meaningless emails promising everything but delivering nothing! And now after 7 months of trying to get my money back by sending numerous emails, they no longer even respond! DO NOT EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM AS THEY ARE NOTHING BUY CHEATS AND LIARS! YOU WILL REGRET IT AS SOON AS YOU PART WITH YOUR MONEY!

My complaint with AirFast is explained through the following email correspondence. In summary – we purchased United Airlines airline tickets through AirFast – after having to switch our flights, etc. – United Airlines ended up refunding part of our tickets (United Airlines was great). It has been over 3-months (will be 4-months on Christmas) since AirFast deposited our refund check from United Airlines into their (AirFast) account. The next step was for them to then turn around and refund the money to us – we haven’t seen a dime. I would also like to apologize for the length of this complaint – but I wanted my emails and their responses to be seen word-for-word so there is no confusion or misunderstanding. The email I sent on 9.18.14: My husband and I booked two tickets through your website for flights on United Airlines - booking number and details below. Because of issues with the airline they refunded a portion of each ticket. United Airlines sent you two checks for the refunds - check numbers and details below - that you all deposited on August 25, 2014. Now you are supposed to write me two checks for those amounts to complete the refund transaction. I called United Airlines in July (July 22, 2014 - I believe) to check on the status of my checks, because I had already received confirmation by email from them that my refunds were approved. They gave me the check numbers, expressed that they were sent to you and that I should be receiving checks from AirFast in the amount of the refunds. So, immediately after I hung up with United, I called AirFast and spoke to a gentleman who had no notes or knowledge of the refunds or checks and told me that he would "investigate" the matter and that it it may take some time - which I understood because I assumed that you had either not received the checks yet or that they had not been processed and for that reason were not showing in his system yet. Well, I've given it two months and haven't heard anything from you or received our refunds. So I called United Airlines today, September 18, 2014, and they confirmed that you, AirFast, had deposited the checks that they, United, had sent to you on August 25, 2014. I immediately called you (9/18/14) after hanging up with United and spoke to a lady who didn't have any information or notes on the refunds and just repeatedly told me that her notes say the tickets are not refundable -- to which I repeated that United DID in fact refund portions of the tickets, that they then paid you for the refund amount, and now that you've deposited United's money you need to pay me. I repeatedly asked her for a supervisor and a supervisor's direct phone number - to which she told me there were no internal direct lines and that my only option was to write an email and it would be "investigated". Please note that there is nothing to investigate - United Airlines paid you and now you need to pay me. As I told the AirFast woman on the phone just moments ago -- if I don't hear back from you within the week (by September 25, 2014) I will contact the Better Business Bureau. By 9.24.14 I hadn’t heard back. And as stated in my email above – calling did no good, plus I was happy to have written documentation. So I followed up via email… I'm following up on my email below that I sent last Thursday, September 18th. As I mentioned, and as I told the woman I spoke to, if I don't hear back from you regarding my refund by tomorrow, Thursday, September 25th, I will report the issue to the Better Business Bureau. However, I also wanted to let you know that, in addition to reporting you to the Better Business Bureau, I will also report the issue on multiple social media channels tomorrow (September 25, 2014). There is no reason that this "investigation" should take this long -- 3 of the 4 steps were completed by August 25, 2014... 1. United approved the refund to me of $384.04 (broken out in two refunds of $192.02 each) 2. Because we purchased the tickets through Airfast, United sent you (Airfast) the two checks for $192.02 each (Check numbers: XXXXXXX and XXXXXX) 3. Airfast deposited the checks on August 25, 2014 4. Now Airfast should have sent me a check(s) for the same amount(s) to complete the refund transaction Please contact me ASAP today or first thing tomorrow morning. I will report the issue, as mentioned above, by 12:00pm EST on September 25, 2014. Thank you for your help - I hope to hear from you soon. They responded on 9.25.14… Thank you for taking the time to communicate with us. We have every desire to address your needs and provide the best solution available to resolve your issue as soon as possible. First of all, we would like to express our deepest apologies for the delay. Allow me to explain the procedure to you, so that you understand the reason for the delay. In cases like this, we need to have the final authorization by the airline, in order to proceed with the refund. This authorization took longer than expected, so the refund was delayed. Although after consulting our system we would like to inform you that your refund procedure is already initiated. The refund procedure takes approximately 40 working days to be completed. As i completely understand the frustration and inconvenience caused to you by this delay, i will personally forward your issue to the appropriate department as a top urgent priority. We would like to thank you about your patience and understanding. Please accept our sincerest apology for any trouble or inconvenience we have caused you. We remain at your disposal for any additional information. Best Regards, Georgia Zindrou The AirFastTickets Team Love your World.Love Travel. I followed up asking when the 40-day procedure began, they said: Further to your inquiry i would like to inform you that the 40 day procedure begin after we deposited the checks from the airlines, indeed. After doublechecking this with our accounting department, your money will be back after this period of 40 working days. Should you need any further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us. I followed up 48 days later on 10.30.14 … didn’t hear back So, followed up again on 11.3.14 … still didn’t hear back So I followed up again on 11.6.14... I can guarantee you that this is my last time reaching out before I go viral/social and report you to the BBB about having not received my refund check. This situation is absolutely ridiculous - I don't know how you are still in business. If I don't hear back from someone or have my check in my mailbox by 5:30 EST tomorrow I will post a long and detailed complaint on every review/blog/social website I can find. What I am asking for is extremely simple. Send me my refund check of $384.04 that you have already deposited in your own account, 8/25/14, from UNITED immediately. Georgia Zindrou told me that I would have the check 40 days after 8/25/14 and it has now been 53 business days and two unreturned emails. Unacceptable. On 11.7.14 they finally responded… Dear Mr / Mrs Thank you for contacting AirFasttickets. First of all, we would like to express our deepest apologies for the delay. Unfortunately, the refund procedure sometimes takes more than the expected time due to the working overload during summer months. So, I sent my final email (below) and as of today, 12.6.14, I have not heard back from them – so here we are. Angelos/ to whom this may concern, I can promise you that this is the very last time I will reach out to you regarding my refund check. It is absolutely ridiculous how long this has taken and I think that waiting over 3-months, since you deposited the check from UNITED into your account, is beyond patient of me. On November 7th I was told my "refund procedure is about to be completed". Again ridiculous that from August 25 to November 7th it's still not completed -- how you can stay in business when this is the speed at which you work is beyond me. But, it has now be another 23 days since it was "about to be completed" and I haven't received my refund check. If I do not have my refund in hand/refunded back on to my card by 5:30 MST on Friday, December 5th, I will not reach back out to you - I will go directly to every social media/blog/review site I can find, as well as the BBB. I've given you plenty of time and I've had enough.

“DO NOT USE”

Please, if you do one thing having read this review. Do not use them. Go to Tripadvisor and read their reviews on this company if you do not want to take my word. They appear to offer great prices. Wrong!! They quote in £££ Sterling and bill in Euro's. Therefore you pay Currency Exchange Charges plus you could pay more for your tickets if the Euro Rate Changes. They changed my booking dates and flight times claiming the Airline was at fault, possibly to try and get me to cancel, which I had to. This should have got me a refund but that is something they do not like doing in fact I am still waiting and having to go through my Credit Card Company to get my money back. As far as I am concerned they cannot be trusted, however if you still want to use them be warned if you do not use a Credit Card you may never see your money again!!!!!.

“All Kinds of Excuses ”

I booked the airplane ticket via the airfasttickets company on June 13th (http://www.airfasttickets.co.uk). The flight was operated by Aer Lingus from LHR-London (19:35 pm on July 17, 2014) to JFK-New York (14:40 pm on July 18, 2014) via SNN-Shannon. The fee was 566.66 GBP. When I was booking the ticket online via the airfasttickets website, I read all of the booking information and the “terms and conditions” carefully but did not see any information showing that the flight ticket was non-refundable. However, after finishing the booking process, when I checked the booking information via inputting the personal information into the website at a different time, I then found the airfasttickets company added the information that the ticket was non-refundable. Later I decided to cancel the flight ticket. Two earlier persons from the airfasttickets told me that they might be able to refund me the taxes (even the ticket was non-refundable) if I decided to cancel the booking. However, later a different third person told me that they could not refund me anything. I feel that airfasttickets company just uses all kind of excuses (mainly, they said that it was based on Aer Lingus’s fare rules) to take my money without clear information and sincere attitudes, even though that I did not buy or use the service at the end. No any star for the rating!

“Want my Money Back”

I have been awaiting full refund since August 9th 2014. After numerous emails I am now becoming increasingly angry. I was told I would receive full refund within 30-40 working days (which is ridiculous in 2014!!) I have received NO customer care. Money was taken very quickly from my account but the lack of urgency for AirFastTickets to give me my cash back is staggering. I work within the tourism industry and this is not the kind of service that I am used to. The last 2 emails I have sent have received no reply. I have however, received an email asking for feedback on the service I have received and was I happy with the way my issue had been resolved!! This Company has a FALSE promise on its website direct quote - 'And, if we fail to uphold our end of the bargain, we'll work our tails off to make things right. Scout's honor! and it is ran by Robots. I wish I had carried out a bit of research before going through Skyscanner and finding this bunch of incompetent bandits!! Give me my cash back Agree with the conditions below, because everything I have written is true unlike the false promise on Airfasttickets website

Me too, since may man. There are no spammers with no lives trying to boost AFT. So now they want you to go on Facebook. Which I am going to now, but after this I think we should all do a class action law suit against this company for misrepresentation and misleading of facts, also with failure to uphold contracts. I was one victim that refunded the next day, but my friend who bought the ticket with me go his refund. I don't how you can take money for a service never rendered. My point is we should not allow them to take advantage of consumers that fallowed the rules and guidelines to opt out of something that they did not want!!!!!

If you booked through the co.uk website, you will not be getting any refund. The company was placed in administration after it failed to pay airlines for tickets which it did issue in October, Air Transat who began the proceedings was owed £1M and the administrators closed the office the following day. The only way anyone will see their money is to make a claim against the credit card company they used to buy the ticket

Hi there, I have headed down the Visa Dispute route. I used debit card ( daft I know!) I have 120 days in which to claim. Due to the diabolical treatment from AFT I am passed 120 days however I am hoping that the trail of paperwork that I hold will be enough to convince the powers that be to proceed with clawing my cash back.

I have called this organizations customer service at least 30 times in order to get my refund back. According to their specialists, it usually takes 30 to 40 business days. It's been 4 months! I still don't have my money refunded to my account. I've requested to talk to a supervisor or manager every single time I called and they're never available. They don't have a specific time frame of when I'll get my refund, which is extortion. I've been very patient but this is getting ridiculous. I never had any trouble with an online business org before this one. For the last 2 months they said my case is in the final stage and will be refunded shortly. Never again will I use this worthless travel agency to book my tickets and I will make sure to spread the words for this unreliable piece of junk business.

Reported in the press today, 22nd October, that the UK branch of Air Fast Tickets was placed in administration last week at the High Court. This suggests any further attempt at getting a refund from the company is pointless. Everyone should now go to their credit card issuers and make claims, that is the only way you will ever see your money

“Waiting 5 months for a refund, still not come through :(”

I booked a flight for £352.24 in May and got it cancelled on the same day as I realised the dates were wrong. I was told that I wouldn't get charged, but the airline charged my account anyway. I have repeatedly emailed, called, emailed, called, over and over and over again, being told the refund of my money (which they should not have taken in the first place) would be coming through in '10 working days', or 'soon', but it never came and it still hasn't come! I have been waiting 5 months now!!!!! Where is my money??? I am a student and I'm really struggling without this money. Please avoid this company because they are simply full of empty promises and continuous lies. “Poor Customer Service and Refund Policy”

In Feb 2014 I booked a hotel reservation for my wife and I, a wedding anniversary celebration weekend. Arriving at the hotel in Oct 2014 we were told that the booking agent, Airfast, had cancelled our reservation. This they had done in error (allegedly). To compound the error they re-booked us to Dec 2014. Bizarre. My wife and I were left with no hotel room and had to trudge our way back home. Not quite the celebration we expected. Upon contacting Airfast they apologised and requested bank details in order to refund. Subsequent contact with Airfast fell on deaf ears until an email advising that refunds take approximately 40 days (which I find completely unacceptable). As another reviewer has commented the customer service agent comments that the matter is with their accounting dept and thanking me for my patience. If I ever see this refund I think I will be surprised. Please do not use this company for the booking of your tickets etc, there is probably a good reason why they are cheaper than many companies.

I bought a ticket in last may and for some reason I had to cancel it. I was told I will be refunded partially after 30 working days. it has been more than more than 4 months now and I have not received the money. Every time I call they say we will check with our accounting department and you will be paid very soon. What a bad response from the customer service who promise to help every time but nothing happened. this is the worst travel agency I have ever dealt with. very bad customer service.. My advise to you is to avoid dealing with them.

I've had the exact same issue :( I'm losing hope I'll ever get the money back. I cancelled my flight immediately after booking and they told me my account wouldn't be charged, but it was anyway.

The news reports I've been reading don't look good.

I booked a flight from air fast tickets after finding them to be the cheapest option for an Alaska Airlines flight. After booking the flight I read some reviews and began to worry. My confirmation email seemed to take a while to come through, so I looked for a way to contact customer services. The only option seemed to be contact them through Facebook, which didn't feel hugely professional to me but they responded promptly and politely and informed me they were communicating with the airline. I then recieved my e-tickets from the airline and everything with the flights went smoothly. I was very happy with the service from air fast tickets for the price I paid and would use them again in future.

I booked a ticket with them, but I would like to know if for any reason I won't be able to make it on the given date on my ticket, can I use it for another time and just pay the difference?

Well according to them you should be ok. But and it's a big but their service via email seems to be at best non existent with no replies. I did do better contacting them by phone but the lack of good English for their team got me nowhere. I have just decided to return on the date I had pre arranged. Hope you have better luck but if you read the other post about that company I don't hold out to much hope best of luck anyway.
