10 minutes visit to quote for indoor door replacement cost £120, was not told this on call. Quoted £800 in Total to replace doors. I said no thanks. Now Pimlico charged me £120 for 10 minutes quote. May they rot in Hell.

Pimlico Electrics seems to be generating negative reviews compared to their core service and I can understand why. We used Pimlico Electrics and this has ruined the Pimlico brand for us. The standard of the work was very poor and the cost was hugely disproportionate. You will read that Pimlico carry out an assessment in the event of perceived over-charging. This actually involves one of their guys popping around for a cursory glance and of course deciding the cost was reasonable - conveniently ignoring sockets hanging off the walls. I have done quite a bit of research and cannot identify any reviews which refer to a complaint being upheld. It's neat branding but doesn't bode well for repeat custom or word of mouth. We used the plumbing service and had no complaint at all but, in our experience, the plumbing arm is dire. Look for a local well establish firm with good ratings and save yourself some unpleasant surprises.

Called Pimlico to install a filtered water tap in the kitchen of the office building as 4 previous plumbers that we had contacted didn't bother showing up when they said they would or then said the job was too small for them! It just goes to show, that you should always stick with the well known, well used and reliable companies out there. From now on, it is Pimlico Plumbers all the way and no changing for our company.

Too often, getting a plumber is a nerve-racking business of finding someone, usually discovering they have a long waiting list, hoping they'll turn up when they say they eventually will, and hoping they'll fix your trouble in one go and not tell you you need a whole new wotsit at vast expense. Pimlico Plumbers make prompt appointments, arrive on time, and solve your problem effectively. They are always polite and helpful, explain what they are doing, and don't blind you with jargon. Using them is a relaxing experience.

They were quick, arrived exactly when they said they would, did the job with no fuss at all and payment was easy and efficient. Nothing to fault at all.

I am so impressed with the level of service delivered by Pimlico Plumbers yesterday. We were battling with a blocked kitchen drain, which we tried to unblock ourselves, with off the shelf drain unblockers. These not only smelt unpleasant, but were highly toxic. Enter Pimlico Plumbers, who were quick to arrive, speedily rectified the problem, cleared up and were absolutely charming with it. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. Next time I have a problem of a blocked drain, I will not struggle on my own, but call them immediately. The call out fee was very fair, in my opinion.

We had a huge leak from our kitchen sink 45 minutes before 12 guests arrived for dinner. The person I dealt with came 30 minutes after we called Pimlico Plumbers and just as our guests were arriving he had already fixed the leak. He came back a few days later to do a more permanent fixture and all is good. Friendly, fast and efficent.

For me Pimlico are an example of capitalism working well -- they turn up when the say, they do a very good job, the charges are transparent, they are nice people and very competent, no job is too small and they have most trades if needed. This comes at a price but when no one else can be bothered to clear a drain on a Sunday (or even answer the phone) they will.

I had previously asked for a member of Pimlico staff the night before but he/she got involved in another emergency job. After the allotted time I asked for the job to be re-scheduled for the next day. The Pimlico member arrived on time. He was very pleasant and asked appropriate questions as the need arose. He carried out the work efficiently and applied the 10% discount readily as a token against the non arrival of the member of staff the night before. The member of staff did above and beyond what he was asked to do

There was a problem with unfinished work (I left the man in the house to complete the job when I went to work) but I was very happy with the way Pimlico Plumbers resolved it by sending someone to complete on a bank holiday.

We have used Pimlico plumbers 3 times in the last six months and each time they have been friendly, efficient and tidy. Having had several unreliable people working on our house in recent years, it has been very refreshing to find somewhere I can call for help, especially as they do so much more than just plumbing. They're not the cheapest but I do find that they consistently do a good job and are just really nice, honest people to have in your home so it's worth it.

After comparing with a few electricians we decided to go with Pimlico plumbers for a complete upgrade of our electrical system (7 days of work in total). The lead electrician and his team did a great work throughout, arriving on time or early, very polite and friendly, very professional, delivering on what they promised and even going the extra mile by doing some extras, responding to questions in out of work hours and reducing the final cost by a bit. Although the final bill was expensive, the quality of the work and the customer service around it was worth it. We will definitely use Pimlico plumbers in the future again and would recommend them to anyone.

Plumber came within the hour . Super friendly and had the job done in no time . Two days later I had a follow up call to check everything was working . Fantastic service.

PP have done several jobs in my flat from replacing the boiler to misc repairs in the bathroom. Service always excellent, from the initial phone call,prompt visits, quotes, punctuality, polite and fast workmen, no time wasted. I will never use any other plumbers. Highly recommended.

Had had plumbing problems for a few weeks and our normal plumbers were unable to resolve - it was leaks from two shower control panels and hoses, plus water temperature cartridges were faulty. Pimlico offered a within the hour slot appointment and the plumber with an apprentice did arrive within the hour. It was a quite complicated piece of work and the plumber explained the issues during the time here. At the end of the investigation process, it was explained what would happen going forward. The parts required were not on their van (this probability was explained when the phone booking was made) but were ordered. The team were friendly and tidy - even took their boots off.

I am a landlord who lives in a different part of the country, as such I have to have good quality, reliable and punctual trades people working for me who can solve problems and not upset my tenants. Pimlico Plumbers ticks all those boxes. They are not the cheapest but I accept and understand that good quality people deserve good pay. Pay peanuts and you get monkeys. This was, it turned out, a simple straightforward job, it was efficiently dealt with and hassle free for me. In my experience if it had turned out to be more complicated it would still have been trouble free for me even if it wasn't for the plumber concerned
