I visited this hospital and it was truly amazing. I was astonished by the vastness of the network of tunnels. As you enter the hospital you can see the beginnings of tunnels that were never finished. I felt very strange the whole time that I was in there. It felt as though there was someone walking directly behind me the whole time I was there. At the end there were stories about what happened to Jersey residents and how some were sent to concentration camps. I returned to my guest house that night and spoke to the landlady about my visit to the hospital and how strange I felt when I was in there. The land lady said that this was probably because the prisoners of war who built it with their bare hands who died were buried in the walls along the tunnels. I believe that from this I was not alone even though the place was fairly empty.
